SUMMER'S POV
*Tuesday*
I woke up the best morning feeling confident about my plan. I didn't shower and I put on yesterday's uniform. I went downstairs to eat breakfast, my mother was on the phone. She was super strict. She wanted me to get into a good college and become a Lawyer. She always wanted me to look and act perfect. And I did, only at home though. At school I liked it, because I was free to be me... Well, almost free. If I even got anything below and A- on any assignment or my grade point went below a 4.0, I was basically grounded for life. It was just my mom and I. My parents were divorced. My mom took full custody of me, and I'm glad she did, because I hate my dad. All he cares about is money. I sat down at one of the chairs is the kitchen with my bowl of cereal in hand. I sat in my chair and my mom paced about the kitchen. She finally hung up the phone and sighed."Good morning, Summer." She said. Kissing the top of my head. I was hoping that she hadn't noticed that I hadn't showered or sprayed perfume on my self.
"Good morning, Mother." I smiled.
"Stand up." She requested. I stood immediately. My mother gave me a once-over. "Did you wear that yesterday."
"No ma'am." I said, trying to sound convincing.
"Are you lying to me?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.
"No ma'am," I repeated. She nodded unbelievingly and motioned for me to sit down. I dug into my bowl of cereal, remembering to keep my posture straight and chew with my mouth completely closed. My mother glanced at me, smiled, and left the room. By that point I had finished the bowl. I was hungry for more, but I was only allowed one bowl of cereal in the morning. I cleaned my bowl and spoon and put them in the dishwasher. I got out a cup front the cabinet and filled it up halfway. I pulled out a pill from each of the bottles (there were 5), and took them one at a time. This was allergy medication and vitamins A through D. As soon as I was done, I went upstairs to brush my teeth. When I finished, I ran back down stairs to put on my shoes, which were by the front door. Mason, who was the techie of the band, lived two doors down from me. We carpooled to and from school. My mom drove us there and his mom drive us home, except on Tuesdays when it was reversed. It was Tuesday, so his mom was driving us. When I finished putting on my shoes, I grabbed my school books and put them in my bag.
"I'll see you after tutoring mom!" I yelled before leaving.
"I love you sweetie," she called back.
"I love you too!" I yelled back and walked out the front door, closing it behind me. I started the short walk over to Mason's house, making a to-do list in my head.

"Hey Summer," he said, "Come on in." He stepped aside and I walked in, having been in their home a million times.
"Hi Mason." I said after he shut the front door behind me.
"I'm almost ready and so is my mom. I'll be ready before she is though." He said.
"That's fine." I smiled.
"Take a seat in the living room if you'd like." He said. I smiled and invited myself into the living room. I also took notice in how Mason followed the plan accordingly. He was wearing what he wore yesterday. I would also plan on asking him if he showered, but u would wait till we got to school. I took out my phone and scrolled through Instagram till Mason came down the stairs, his mother only a few seconds behind.
