"I'm confused." Leo said, as they all walked through the front door to the house, tension hanging in the air. "How did Chase use his bionics back there? He lost his chip."

"God, Leo. I already told you a million times!" Douglas groaned, rubbing his temples as he collapsed on the couch for dramatic effect. "He had a chip melded to his system. It can't be removed which makes him a huge threat if Krane... well, you know."

Leo sighed, muttering something as he walked up to his room.

"What's Krane gonna do with him?" Bree asked, tears stinging her eyes.

This time, Mr. Davenport answered, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I don't know. But all I know is that it won't be good."

Bree nodded, as she sat down next to Douglas, who smiled as he engulfed her in a hug, stroking her head. She needed comfort, but she needed to find Chase first.

She sprung up from the couch. "What are we doing? Let's go find Chase! Go! Go! Go!"

Bree tried to speed past Mr. Davenport but he guarded the door, unable to say anything until he sighed. "Bree, we need his GPS signal. I'm waiting for Douglas to do that becuase he's the only one who can track Chase."

Douglas looked at them, who raised their eyebrows and he pointed to himself. They both nodded and he jumped up and sprinted down to the lab, leaving Adam, Mr. Davenport and Bree alone in the living room.

Mr. Davenport and Adam sat down on the couch, trying to calm themselves while Bree did laps around the house, pushing her superspeed to the limit.

"Come sit with us!" Adam whined as she zoomed by.

"Can't... sorry..." Bree said, as she sped around.

Mr. Davenport closed the front door with a remote and Bree barelled into it, collapsing at the floor. She held her forehead in pain as she frowned, walking over to the couch, plopping down beside Adam.

"Just, try to relax Bree." Mr. Davenport soothed, closing his eyes.

"Got it!" Douglas yelled, bouncing into the room, causing everyone to jump. Mr. Davenport sighed, as he stood up alongside Adam, both of them giving Douglas an annoyed look.

"What?" He asked, confused.

"Great! Now let's go!" Bree said enthusiastically.

"Wait." Mr. Davenport stopped her. "We need Leo, go get-" he was cut off by Bree superspeeding upstairs and appearing a second later gripping Leo's arm hashly. He rubbed his arm once she let go and shot her an unhappy look.

"Let's go!" She said smiling at everyone.

Krane geo-leaped to the junkyard, alongside Chase, who was struggling but extremely weak from the shocks.

Chase struggled to get out of his grip but it didn't work. All it did was annoy Krane, who just gripped harder, causing Chase to cry out in pain.

Krane dragged Chase to the end of the junkyard, where there sat a chair and a desk. Krane shoved Chase in the chair and fastened his wrists and ankles, making him immobile.

Krane then began tampering with a black remote, and a USB. Chase was terrified but only for his family's lives. He knew what Krane was doing, but it didn't look good. And he knew the outcome.

Krane smiled as a spark shot out of the device and into a pile of trash, igniting it, causing the entire thing to become a fiery blaze.

Chase coughed several times but tried to escape, his heart heavy and his mind racing with horrible thoughts. He wished this wouldn't happen.

Krane set down the remote and smiled as he approached Chase. "This won't hurt a bit." He paused. "I'm lying. He jammed the USB in Chase's neck, who screamed out in pain.

Krane pushed buttons on the remote and Chase felt himself slipping out of consciousness, his eyes growing more heavier by the second. When he was about to fall asleep, he heard people running towards them before being engulfed by darkness.

"You're too late." Krane spat, taking out the USB. Chase's eyes opened but this time, they were a dark green, and he looked a lot more violent than usual.
