Chapter 25

Haeri's POV

It was the most crazy feeling I could feel. The situation awhile ago crazed me to the maximum. My tears never failed to disappoint me. The way I cried was miserable.

I had calm down after listening of some comforts. Confused?

My mother, Min Chaeyeon, left us without even seeing Sena. Why? How? It's all because of me. It's because she's trying to protect me.

I was so helpless. I should insist but I have no guts to fight her back. Everything was a whole big if a disaster.

"I'm sorry for your lost," the doctor sighed heavily as I slightly nodded as an acknowledgement. He faded away from my sight as I fall down on the vacant seat just behind me.

"Haeri," I heard a voice calling out. I wiped away my tears and look up. I see Suho as he sat beside me. "Did I disturb you?"

I shook my head as I forced a smile. But then, Kyungsoo came in sight. "Never force a smile, remember?"

I bit my bottom lip trying to stop being so damn emotional. I let out a heavy sighed before looking around. "Where's Sena?"

Both Kyungsoo and Suho exchange glances. "She's," both of them paused. Kyungsoo gestured Suho to continue so he did.

"She's needing some time alone. I guess Xiumin is comforting her," Suho informed as he patted my shoulder. "Do you need anything?"

I shook my head as an answer.

"Who caused all of this trouble?" Kyungsoo asked with a frightening look in his eyes.

The memories all flashed back in my mind. I literally furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and I'm sure they can tell that. I don't understand anything too. Who are they?

I woke up by the sound of the loud thunder. I sit up straight in the bed as I roam my eyes around. I thought I just have a nightmare. I shrugged it off and reached for my phone to keep my mind away from thinking the negatives.

Not long after, the door opened revealing my mother.

"Yes?" I raised both brows. "What's wrong?"

"Haeri, go and hide, now," she demanded as she pushed me to the room which has the color of the door the same as the wall to confuse people. No one know about this door too. No one can recognize whether or not it's a door.

"Why?" I asked blankly with my feet landed flatly on the floor. "Where's Sena?"

"There's no time to ask question. Get in and stay quiet," she put a finger on her lips.

Even before she could slammed the door closed, I can see the sadness and fear in her eyes. It's unusual to feel this way. But it's strange. Too strange.

I could feel something that I never felt before. Danger. Not only that, it was as if I could read her emotion just by the sight of her eyes.

Which is amazingly weird.

I sat down on the floor, thinking so hard what I should do. I hugged my knees as I hold onto my phone tightly, staring on the time. I forgot to look around the room.

But when I did, I saw Chanyeol. I gasped.

"There you are!" I happily said. I was about to tap a finger on his shoulder when he hissed creepily. He glanced over at me but he look different.
