Chapter 29

I was supposed to publish this on Chen's birthday but sadly, I can't. So, here's the update. Enjoy!

"How can you say she's missing? How do you know she's missing?" Chanyeol furrowed his eyebrows and no one reply to his question since apparently, he can't be heard. "Oh, yeah."

He nodded as he remember who he is. He heave a sigh and wait for the silence atmosphere in the room to be crack up. It took some times until Suho finally decided to ask it.

"Who told you?"

"I should go now too but I'm not sure if Chen's right that Haeri is missing. She's just nowhere to be found," Kai explained.

"Yeah. We need to wait. Maybe she just needs some time alone. Besides, it's just Chen right? He can be fooling us," Luhan guessed. "But that doesn't sound like a great joke to fool us at the moment."

"But I really feel like going," Baekhyun suddenly blurted out. "I'll just be with you guys at the moment."

They stayed in the hospital for hours. They believed that Haeri just need some time. Kris had also joined them.

Chen was furiously waiting for Kai and since his phone was dead, he force himself to make a quick run to the hospital to get them. He barge into the room where everyone of them are, and they're all about to leave too. Chen actually caught all of their attention.

"Where the heck were you guys?!" He raised his voice that some of them flinched.

"Yah! Can't you just shut up? This is a hospital and the patients here need to rest!" Sena snapped furiously.

"Do I look like I care?" Chen fought back to everyone surprised. No one really dare to fight Sena back since her presence already seem so dominant.

"You're being selfish. Your friend here, Xiumin needs -"

Chen had has enough that he cut her off instantly. "Do you think I give attention about that? He's in a hospital under the doctor's look. He's still breathing, isn't he? He had already opened his eyes and spoke too. He's okay. He just need rest. We can see him now. But that's not the case. Haeri is missing. She's nowhere and you guys doesn't even give a crap about it!"

Looking at his sweat and furious face, they realized that Haeri's nowhere is not a joke. "Haeri is seriously missing?" Sehun blinked his eyes.

"Do you think I was joking?" He asked. "Kai, did I sound like I was joking?"

Kai just shrugged. "Well, we just thought that she needs some time to be alone, so, yeah."

"Guys, I'm not going to let the same thing happen again. Like what happen to Hana. We left her alone when she needs us more than we've imagine. Then we feel guilty that we left her suffering by herself. And I'm not going to let that happen to Haeri too. I'm not going to let her suffer alone. You hear me?"

"Chen, calm down. This is a whole misunderstanding stuffs. We just thought that maybe she needs time before she surfaces herself," Kyungsoo said.

"Better early than late," Chanyeol sighed as he witness this fight.

"The hell?" Chen got annoyed by this conclusion. "Guys, I've been searching for her hours and hours ago all by myself. I asked for your help but none of you even wanna believe me. Am I that untrustworthy enough for you guys to not believe me? Even if she needs time alone - time to herself - she needs us to be there. To help her get rid all of her misery away."

All of them slowly processed his words and feel guilty that what he said was right. That Chen was indeed right.

"Well, guys, if it's true Haeri ran away, thanks a lot guys. She might be further away from us now. I really appreciate that," Chen left them with sarcasm. Before he left, he look at Kris first. "And don't you think I didn't know what you had done wrong to her too."
