The school ended and Haeri waste no time. She walk in a fast pace towards the school gate to meet her twin sister. But then, she remembered something.
She still can't avoid Xiumin, can she?
She slowly approached Sena who was talking with Xiumin.
"Sena," she called out catching both of their attentions.
"Yes me?" Sena raised her eyebrows.
"I'll be back a bit late. Just tell mother that I will be taking fresh air for a moment. I won't be late. I promise," she smiled.
"Oh? Are you sure you're okay to be alone?" Sena asked as Haeri nodded her head. "Okay then. I'll be going. Be careful."
Haeri waved at them and glanced at Xiumin who look at her worriedly. Haeri showed a 'don't-worry' look towards him. Xiumin just smiled as he followed Sena.
Haeri sighed as she walked towards the opposite path. She wasn't alone and that's normal. Of course Chanyeol was there all along. He just don't know what to say. He was clueless on why she was acting so strangely.
"Chanyeol, did your life went well before?" Haeri asked as she sat down on the bench at the park watching the beautiful lake.
"Life is always full of challenges. You can't predict them but should just work hard to change them," he shrugged.
"Really?" Haeri just fake smile.
"You're sick," Chanyeol look at her doubtful.
And not long after, her head got hit by something.
"Ouch!" She winced as the flying thingy dropped to the ground. She picked it up and realized it's a frissbee.
"I'm so sor--" the boy who was going to take the frissbee suddenly stopped on his track and blinked. "Kim Haeri?"
Haeri looked up as soon as she heard her name. That was when she realized the boy is one of the football player.
"I'm so sorry for that. Does it hurt?" He asked.
"Ani. Its okay," she smiled as she handed the frissbee to him.
"You're okay now?" He asked.
Haeri looked at him with expressionless face for seconds before putting a smile. "A bit. At least."
"Mianhe," he muttered. "For preassuring you even more."
Haeri couldn't answer him so she just stayed quiet.
"Yah! Byun Baekhyun!" Another boy shouted as he approach Baekhyun. "I thought you're just going to get the frissbee," he said.
"Oh, umm... sorry for that," then Baekhyun just signaled that there's someone with him.
"What?" The boy muttered before glancing at Haeri. "Oh, sorry," he bowed.
From the face, Haeri can tell that the boy somehow is related with Baekhyun.
"Haeri, I hope you'll get better soon. Don't think so much about it. Okay?" Baekhyun patted her shoulder before waving and smiling at her.
Haeri just waved and smiled. When both of the boys are out of sight, she stood up and walked back home.
"Haeri," Chanyeol called out. "I'm sincerely sorry. I never saw you this sad before. But when I appear in your life, everything change. I just need help and I think you're the one who needed a help now."
"No, no, no!" Haeri shook her head. "I think this is fate. Maybe I'll learn something by the end of everything. Don't worry."
