Kai was just about to exit the front gate school when she saw Haeri entering a black car. He was confused and curious about it. Can that car be her father's?
But something caught his attention. The plate number. It's kinda weird but ever since he's young, he memorized all of the plate number of a car that own by someone he know. And the plate number of the black car was surprisingly familiar to him.
Luhan once joked about plate number which he took it seriously. He still remember that time.
Luhan was squinting his eyes, focusing on car's plate numbers making Kai curious. So he asked.
"What are you doing?"
Luhan snapped out of it and smile like an idiot to him. "It's just that, I used to memorize plate numbers of people that I know so that if one day an accident happen and I got the plate number, I can easily report it to the police." (A/n: Have you guys meet someone like this? I have a friend like this. She taught me that. 😂)
Kai was amused by his idea so he followed along. Starting from that time, he memorized plate numbers.
Just then, it hit him. The plate number was not an ordinary plate number. It's own by someone he know. One of his friend used to ride that car before too.
The said friend is, of course, Park Chanyeol.
He walked closer and when Haeri stepped out off the car, he was surprised. He got the chance to glance on the owner of the car. He didn't expect much but it's Mr Park.
Doesn't Haeri hates him as much as I do? He thought.
It takes him moments to realize that he must've brainwashed Haeri or something to do cruel things to him. It was almost impossible and crazy so he decided to keep it to himself first. He doesn't know if she acts differently to the others that's why he keep it to himself.
"Kai," he heard someone calling from behind. At first, he thought it will be Haeri and maybe that she had saw him looking earlier. But once he turned around, he feel relieved.
He just look at her without a word. Asking her to continue. Hana walked beside him as both of them walked together.
"What happened to Haeri? She seems - off," she asked.
"I wish I can answer," Kai simply hinted that he realized it too. "Did she approached you too? She say anything?"
Hana hesitated before shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know."
Kai knows what that mean. It means that Haeri did approach her and say something to her. Hana just struggles to find words to describe what it's like when Haeri approached her.
"She said I'm a liar," she sighed.
"Are you?" Kai asked which sounded a bit stupid.
"Yeah," Hana admitted. "She told me every flaws of mine that she knows and I think she's right. I'm a big fat liar."
"You're too -" Kai couldn't seem to know the word he wanted so he just shook his head. "That's your other flaw."
"Huh?"
"You trust people too easily."
"Yeah, I trust people too easily that I would even trust a stranger," she let out a chuckle.
"No," Kai shook his head. "That's not what I mean. You chose to believe her and admitted you're a liar. That's your actual flaw. You never want to try to defend yourself. She barely even knows you. It's you who know yourself much better than anyone else. If she said you're a liar, give thousands of your reason why you lied."
