Karma for Pride

When we got to Arkansas, we slept in the car. Then next morning, we went on the hunt. We prowled around Paron. There was hardly anyone there to ask about Brent and most of them did not want to talk. When we did find someone, they were too drugged out to move, so we had to wait another day and let them sober up. We stayed at her house for the night. Her name was Mandy. She was the typical bimbo, with blonde hair, green eyes, and gigantic boobs. She even wore the skin tight, two sizes too small, leopard print dress with matching heels.

That next morning, Mandy had made breakfast for us and had downed a cup of coffee before Damarco and I had even woken up. She was a very clean woman, so we weren't afraid to consume the food she had made. Mandy was also a very good cook.

"Well, this fellow your after is a major asshole. Like, I used to date him, but his pride got to be too much. If that wasn't bad enough he started cheating on me with his ex-girlfriend and one my best friend's friends. Oh, he is just awful. He even started sending dick pics to a bunch of other girls. And he never answered my texts or my calls." Mandy explained to us.

"So, where can we find him?" Damarco asked as I shoveled a forkful of eggs in my mouth.

"Oh, I can take you to his house, I can show you his favorite bar, his fav gentleman's club. I was with him for nine months. I can even tell you his favorite color, if you need it. Why are you looking for him, anyway?"

"Well," I swallowed and Damarco chomped a piece of bacon, "he kinda, screwed over the wrong girl. I'm her best friend and Damarco is her new boyfriend. We have a task to beat the living hell out of him and take back something he stole from her."

"Oh, okay. You know, you should take his balls while you're at it. Send one to Z and one to Bridget." She laughed and snorted, "That would be great!"

"He probably won't survive, but we will try to do that just for you Mandy. Write down their addresses for us."

"Your serious?" Mandy and Damarco asked me at the same time.

I nodded and Mandy left the dining room to write down their addresses.

"Seriously? You do know how messed up that is, right?" Damarco said when she had left the room.

"Yes I know. I may have been sent to hell, but it was not because I was a cheater. One thing I can't stand is a cheater. I actually went to prison for the first time when I was fourteen for killing a guy that cheated on me. I Shoved him over the railing on his staircase. Off the fourth floor. I framed his mom and after I was in jail for two months, they found my planted evidence and I got out. His mom went in." I smiled as Mandy came back into the room. She handed me the paper.

"I also wrote down his address and the ones for the bar and Gentleman's club. I don't know where he will be, but you should probably check his house at night. He usually isn't there during the day." Mandy told me as she sat down.

"Thank you for breakfast, Mandy. And everything you've told us." I told her and stood.

"We have to be going now. We are not from here, so it will take us some time to even find Hot Springs. Thank you very much. Your food was delicious." Damarco told her, standing as well.

"Oh, leaving so soon? Well, alright. I will walk you out." Mandy said.

She walked us outside and grabbed a bucket off her porch. She walked out into the yard and whistled. A group of chickens and ducks ran out from under the house and cars. She poured the bucket of scraps onto the ground and came back to the porch.

"I didn't want you to squish any of my babies." She told us, petting a duck that had waddled up on top of the head.

I smiled and we went to the car and headed for Hot Springs. We went to the bar first. The Ohio Club was crowded and noisy, but we began to ask around anyways. A lot of women told us he deserved no worse than a slow, painful death and a lot of men said that he needed to be drug behind a car or thrown in the street and beaten with a baseball bat. We determined he wasn't there and went to the Gentleman's club. It was across from a church.
