My eyelids felt heavy again as we walked. I yawned. My backpack was starting to feel heavier and I was a bit hunched over.
Oliver placed his hand on my back. "You tired or something?"
I nodded my head.
"Do you want us to stop and rest a bit?"
I glanced up at Zayjay and D'Anna up ahead. They looked determined. There was no way that they would stop for me.
I shook my head and kept walking.

After a while, D'Anna finally decided that we should stop for a minute. She claimed that she had to go to the bathroom and jogged behind a nearby building. Zayjay followed after a few seconds and Oliver stayed with me. We sat down on the sidewalk. I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.
~~~
I found myself sitting on a hill. The hill was quite large and was covered in green grass. Below me was a battlefield. There was no grass where the fighting was taking place. Just dirt and dust. Loud gun shots and yelling could be heard in the fighting. There were two different large groups fighting. Armies.
One was clothed in blue and red. The Americans.
The other was clothed in yellow and blue.
A country named Tasitaly. This country was founded in the year 2049, the year I was born. My home country, America, and Tasitaly had been known to throw threats at each other since the beginning.
I guess that the ropes between them snapped.
I watched the battle.
Unafraid.
I felt safe up here on this little hill.
No one saw or noticed me.
It then began to rain.
The rain was a deep red and reeked of metal.
I cupped my hands and held them out. The red liquid filled my hands and overflowed onto my lap. The "rain" was very thick and syrupy.
Blood.
Shrieks of horror rose from the battle field. Several soldiers fled towards the hill. Feet pounded against the ground, shaking the earth.
They were running up the hill. I jumped up. Fear filled me and I got a kick of adrenalin.
I turned around and bolted for a tree line that I saw in the distance. The blood burned into my eyes and I became blind. Falling to my knees, I let out a agonizing wail and held my eyes.
The footsteps got closer but I couldn't move. I was desperate to get the forest. Something was holding me back. I couldn't see anything though, just a deep red color that burned my eyes.
The footsteps halted suddenly and the blood had stopped falling. It was quiet. No sound could be heard whatsoever. I let our a sigh of relief.
That's when I heard and shotgun click.
I tilted my head up towards the sky, my eyes still closed.
Something metal pressed against the back of my head.
I heard a voice.
"You won't know, until it's too late."
~~~
"Brooke! Brooke wake up! Please!"
Someone was shaking me violently. My eyes shot open and I saw Oliver over me. He rose me up and grabbed my wrist. "We have to go!"
He was panicking.
I heard a loud alarm echoing throughout the city, along with a deep rumbling sound.
Oliver began sprinting down the street, away from the sound. He was panting.
"W-what's happening?"
My question wasn't answered. He most likely didn't hear me over the noise.
I saw Zayjay and D'Anna a little ways down the street. They were on the sidewalk next to the buildings, also running.
The sun's glare was sharply shined in my eyes, making in difficult to see where I was going.
My heart went into a panicked mode when I heard the rumbling become louder and the alarm sound seemed to be getting closer.
What was behind us? Was there an earthquake happening and making the buildings fall?
I dared to steal a quick glance behind me. I regretted it as soon as I saw it.
Huge dark blue tanks were slowly rolling down the street. A large army, like the one I saw in my dream, was surrounding the tanks, marching with theirs guns pointed up.
Up at us.
I swung my head back around and kept running.
A small tear slid down my cheek as terror crept up my spine.
A whole army of armed Tasitalens were right behind us.
I only knew that it couldn't get worse for us.
Their intentions for us were going to be painful.
***********************************************
To make this clear : Tasitaly is not a real country.
I made it up to make the story more interesting.
It's pronounced : tas-eh-tally
This country is across the Pacific Ocean so they came to America on boat.
Tasitaly is very different from our country. It is mostly forest and jungle, making their cities a lot more forest like. They have houses and building made of trees and all that stuff. Tree houses can be found everywhere also.
Tasitalen people are very strong and bold. They can be extremely angry and crazy people towards others but are kind and gently to their own people.
That was just a little info about the Tasitalens.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter I will hopefully update tomorrow. Maybe not I'm not sure.
