Tyler was climbing through Josh's window not even an hour later.
Tears were streaming down his face as he let out small sobs.
Josh lead him to his bed and sat Tyler down.
"Hey shh. It's okay. You're okay now." Josh sat beside Tyler, rubbing small circles on the boys back.
Tyler shook his head as he wiped the tears away.
"You're safe here. You've got me. I won't let him hurt you." Josh soothed as he cautiously pulled Tyler in for a hug, in which Tyler gladly returned, crying into Josh's chest.
