When Josh awoke the next morning he noticed that the bathroom door was open and Tyler wasn't in it. 

He ran down the stairs and looked around in every room in the house. He looked on the front porch and Tyler's shoes were still there. 

Josh sighed and walked to the only place left to look. 

He opened the back door and looked out on the porch. 

Tyler was sat, hugging his knees to his chest on the old porch swing. 

Josh felt himself relax and he walked to the boy and sat down beside him. 

Tyler's eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were tear stained. 

Tyler didn't look at Josh as he sat down. 

"Are you okay?" Josh asked softly. 

Tyler shook his head and his eyes started to glisten again as the tears started falling. 

Josh's heart broke at the sight and he opened his arms. Tyler moved and hugged Josh. 

And they sat like that for as long as it took for Tyler to calm down.
