Chapter Eighteen: This is the Grossest Thing I Have Ever Tasted

Brianna's POV

I trailed behind Jeremy up the front lawn of Dakotas, and into his massive home.

Loud music played obnoxiously loud, drunk teenagers were standing around and having a good time, "Do you want something to drink?"

"I guess I could go for something." I nodded. He grabbed my hand, and pulled me towards a room that looked like the kitchen. Once we enter I saw table of many drinks on it. All of them seemed to contain some type of alcohol.

"What do you want?" He asked, picking up a red cup.

"I don't know. I've never drank before." I confessed, feeling a bit embarrassed. I mean, what teen nowadays hasn't drank? Thats right, me.

"Do you want to try any then? It's totally up to you."

I debated the thought. What if I get really drunk? But, I'm
sure Jeremy might stop me. On the other hand, I'm a teenager and I'm going to try it sooner or later.

"I could try something..."

He nodded, picking up a glass bottle with the label 'Bush Light' plastered on it, and popped the lid off - handing it to me.

I gulped before bringing the cold glass to my lips, and tilting the bottle back, making the bitter liquid run into my mouth. I quickly pulled the bottle away, and sat it on the counter - going to the sink and spitting it out. I turned back around towards Jeremy, wiping my mouth.

He was chuckling at me, his lovely blue/green eyes squinted just a bit. "That is the nastiest stuff I have ever tasted."

"I guess you aren't ready for beer." He chuckled, setting his cup full of, what I think is water, on the counter. He looked over the table. "Try one of those." He pointed to a little cup of blue stuff.

I picked it up, and smelled it. It didn't smell to bad. "What is it?"

"A jello shot. C'mon, try it."

I brought cup to my lips, and quickly swallowed the blue stuff. It's actually really good. "It's... good." I smiled.

"Good. Now don't drink to many." He warned. I nodded taking four more shots. With each shot, I felt lighter and lighter on my feet.

"What else should I try?"

"How about some of this." He offered, holding up a bottle of strawberry vodka. I nodded my head, smiling. He poured half my red cup with vodka and handed it to me. I took a drink, and the cold liquid burned my throat as it went down. "How is it?"

"Gre-"

"Jeremy! You came!" An all to familiar voice said behind me. Heavy footsteps came from behind me, and went to stand next to Jeremy.

"Yeah man." Jeremy nodded, taking a drink of his water.

"So, who's your pretty lady?" Dakota asked, turning towards me. He stopped mid spin, and gawked at me, making me feel self conscious.

"Brianna?" Dakota asked, still slightly gawking. Lord, please help.

"The one and only." I nodded, taking a drink of my vodka.

"You look... different." He smiled, a mischievous look now on his face.

"Thats what I was going for."

"Well damn, it worked." He winked, licking his lips. Yuck.

"Okay man, eyes off." Jeremy chuckled. I blushed, looking to the ground.

"Sorry dude," Dakota hardly whispered to Jeremy, "She just looks so... doable."

I cringed at the thought of him touching me in all the wrong places. Does anyone have a barf bag? I could easily see Jeremy stiffen from Dakotas words while clenching his drink harder than necessary.

"I said lay off." Jeremy growled. Dakota chuckled, clapping him on the back.

"Relax man. There are plenty of other girls here I could hook up with." Dakota laughed, sipping from his bottle of beer. Jeremy didn't reply. Dakota smiled before walking to the door to the kitchen, "See you around, Brianna." He winked before leaving.

What a pig.
