Chapter 21

Being the official executive in Aogiri tree wasn't exactly the most exciting thing as you thought it would be. You were now called in every meeting with Ayato, and those meetings were boring as hell! You mostly kept quiet because of the other executives arguing over the slightest things. At those meetings you discussed boring matters such as the feeding grounds, army squads and other boring things in general. You tried so hard not to fall asleep there, but sometimes it was so hard to keep your eyes open. The worst part was that you were in those meetings every day.

"Come on, (f/n), we have a meeting now" Ayato called you

You whined at the thought, totally unamused.

"No, please, spare me" you pleaded while hugging the pillow

"Come on, they said it is an important one"
"They say that for every single one, and it always ends up with Yamori screaming at someone" you said
"Well, what can we do, we can't be late" Ayato took your hand and pulled you in order to make you go
"Fine, I'm coming" you gave up and followed him.

When you arrived there, all the executives weren't there yet, so you and Ayato could choose the sitting place. Sitting on your usual spot next to each other, you two couldn't help but to notice that everybody was rushing somewhere. That was indeed an important meeting.

"They must be planning a raid" Ayato
"Is that so?" You sighed "This meeting will be long then"

When everyone gathered, Eto started the meeting. She proposed the plan and by the range of it, it seemed like the biggest one in a while. Everyone tensed up when she said that you were attacking the main dove base. You were immediately given the exact number or army squads and executives and the plan of the building you were attacking. While the other executives were discussing other stuff about the raid, you couldn't help but to notice that building was way too big for the number of ghouls that were available.

They were in the middle of conversation when you interrupted them.

"Excuse me..." You said and everyone turned their heads to you
"(F/n), what is it" Kaneki asked you
"This building is too big for the amount of ghouls we have. There in no way I can think of a plan that has the success of at least 60%"
"That's why we gave you the task of planning it! You are the smartest one here, you will come up with the best p,an possible" Yamori said.

You sat back down and inhaled deeply. You were in the meeting for hours, and whole that time you were thinking about the best possible way of increasing the winning possibility percentage, but it was impossible. There is no way this could work. Too many doves, a building too big, not enough ghouls. Ayato saw you were all stressed and told you not to worry much, but how could you not worry? Those were lives of all of you, and they all depended on your strategy.

When the meeting was finally over, you all headed back to your apartments, You took the map with you so you could think about it some more, but Ayato didn't look that pleased with it. You could notice that he was staring at the map every now and then and you really wondered why he did it with a frown on the face.

"Ayato, why do you keep staring at the map" you asked confused
"Why did you bring it?" He sounded angry
"To make the plan?" You half questioned
"Well for how long are you going to do it?"
"As long as I have to, but what kind of questions are these? Did I do something wrong?"

He just chuckled and turned around so wasn't facing you. You were confused by the actions, but then it clicked in your head.

"Oh, no, don't tell me you are jealous of the map" you grinned
"Shut up, idiot"
"Oh, Ayato, you know-" you started but he interrupted by leaning in and kissing you lightly and quickly. You were startled and all flustered by the sudden actions. When he pulled away, he took the map from you and took your hand leading you to the apartment.

"You are mine, Idiot, remember that, no one can have you, not even this map"
