Melanie

Chapter 6

When Megan got to school, she was more than excited to see Kyle.  She feels really lonely because Melanie is being a witch right now, so she just really needs him to be there for her.  Thankfully, he was in her first period class, but so was Melanie.  She normally sat next to Melanie, but today, she sat next to Kyle. 

"Hey." she said in a really depressed tone.

"Hey!  What's wrong?"

"Melanie."

"What about her?"

"She's been a real bitch to me lately.  To all of us."

"Aw I'm so sorry."

"That's fine.  I'm just so glad that you're here right now."

"Anytime, love." he said.  She was blushing.

After class, Melanie walked over to Megan and asked to speak with her alone.  Kyle went to his locker after he gave Megan a little kiss. 

"Hey Megan!  Why didn't you sit next to me today?" she asked her.

"Because I'm just tired of you right now.  You've been so rude to all of us lately, we're all done with your attitude!" she shouted.  Everyone in the hallway stared at them.

"Alright." she said, and just walked away.  What the hell was that? Megan thought. 

Melanie didn't talk to her for the rest of the day. 

When she got home, she texted Nicole and Hayley: SOS

When they got there, she told them exactly what happened between her and Melanie that day.  "I told her that we're all tired of her and done with her attitude lately, and then she just said 'Alright.' and walked away!  Like what the hell was that?  Is she gonna come after us?  I'm so scared."

"It's okay.  We'll always be here for you." said Nicole.

"Nicole is right.  There's nothing to be afraid of.  Melanie isn't capable of doing much." said Hayley.

"We all know what Melanie is capable of doing." Megan said to them.  They all looked really scared.

Brooke and Melanie went out shopping without the other girls.  "Hey, maybe you should go easy on the girls.  You've been really rude to them lately, and you don't seem to care." Brooke said to Melanie.

"You're totally right, Brooke.  I'm so sorry.  You know what, I'm going to go and apologize to them right now." she said.

"Hey girls!" she said as she walked into Megan's house.  They all looked at her.  "I'm so sorry for everything I've done to make you girls mad at me.  Can we please just start over?" she asked them.

"Yeah, I guess so." said Megan.

"Thank you so much, girls!" Melanie said, smiling.

The next day at school went by really smoothly.  Melanie was actually nice to the girls.  She didn't say one mean thing to them.  It felt like things were back to normal again.
