The next day at school, Megan didn't see Kyle all day.  She called him up when she got home.  No answer.  She called him again.  No answer.  And again, and again, and again, and again.  Still no answer.  She added his number on her tracking app on her phone.  She felt that this was kind of creepy, but she still worried about him.  A lot.  She found out that he was on a beach in New Jersey.  She left right away and flew to New Jersey.  When she got to the Jersey Airport, she checked her tracker again.  When she got to that beach, she saw Kyle there with another girl.  She felt really jealous, so she spied on him, just to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid.  After a little while, she heard what they were saying to each other.  He was being kind of flirty with her and she was obviously blushing.  She ran over to them.  "Hey!" she screamed as she was running through the soft sand in her wedges that Melanie gave her about a year ago.  He got up, surprised.  The girl followed him.  "Hey!  Megan!  What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here?  Why weren't you at school today?  And why didn't you tell me that you were going on vacation with your girlfriend?"

"She is not my girlfriend!" he shouted.  He was shirtless and muscular.  He was wearing really nice light blue swim trunks.

"Um...excuse me?  I asked you if you would be my boyfriend, and you said yes" the girl said.  She was wearing a really tight, pink bikini.  Megan gave him a look, and then she just walked away from him, rolling her eyes.

"Hey!  Megan!  Wait!" he shouted after her.  He started running towards her but then the girl started following him.  He put up his hand.  "No.

We're done.  It's over." he said to her.  She started running away, crying, but he didn't seem to care.

He finally caught up to her and stopped her.  "Hey.  Megan.  What are you doing here?  Did you follow me all the way here?"

"No.  Of course not.  I tracked your phone."

"What?!"

"Kyle, I was worried about you.  I mean, I thought I was your girlfriend"

"Hey!  Of course you are!  She means nothing to me.  I may have said that, but I was really drunk and it must've just slipped out.  I just broke up with her.  I love you so much, Megan, and I never want to lose you." he leaned over and tried to kiss her, but she dodged it.

"Not now, Kyle.  I'm not in the mood.  Let's just go home.  And put a shirt on." she said, looking at his extremely muscular abs.

"What?  Why?  I thought you liked this"

"No.  You thought she liked this.  Not me."

He put his shirt on, and then they left for JFK.

They didn't talk on the whole flight home.  When they got to the airport and were ready to go to their separate cars,  Kyle said goodbye to Megan.

She couldn't help but say goodbye back to him.  She still loved him so much.

"Goodbye, Kyle." she said.  It sounded like they were breaking up, but that's totally not how she meant it.  She called up Nicole. "Hey Nicole!"

"Hey Megan!  What's up?"

"Are you...busy tonight?" she hesitated.

"No, why?"

"Oh, I was just wondering if you wanted to have a sleepover.  I really have to talk to someone about what just happened, and I also just really don't want to be alone tonight."

"Aw, of course, sweetie!  Anytime!  What time do you want me to come over?  And is it okay if I bring Hayley?"

"Yeah, that's great.  That's even better, actually.  And can you please come over in about 5-10 minutes?"
