"C'mon, work you piece of shit" she murmured, flicking the light switch up and down. She groaned in annoyance.
"Try turning on the light in the kitchen," she told me. I went over to the kitchen and flicked the switch, nothing.
"It's nothing over here!" I shouted. I went back to the living room, but Calypso wasn't there.
"Calypso!" I called, walking down the hall. I looked in the all rooms up stairs, but she wasn't there. Then I heard a shriek,
"Aaaaahhhh!!!" I turned towards the stairs.
"Calypso!" I ran down the stairs to the basement, it was pitch black. I turned on my phone flashlight and found Calypso lying on the floor under the stairs.
"Calypso!" I ran over to her and shook her. She moaned and opened her eyes.
"We need to get out of here!!" She yelled. I looked at her confused and asked calmly.
"Wait, why?"
"He's here," she whispered. My eyes widened, as we heard a loud SLAM! We ran to the door to find it was locked.
"Help! Help! Anybody! Help!" I screamed, banging vigorously on the door.
"Help! Stop! Please! Dad!" Calypso cried, shaking the knob.
