I felt the bright light coming through the window shine on my face. I rubbed my eyes and turned over to face the clock that was next to the TV. Except when I looked over there was no TV, just my bookshelf. I sat up and looked around, I was in my room, and next to me was Calypso laying on top of the covers.
"Calypso," I whispered, shaking her lightly.
"What?" She croaked turning away from the window.
"We're in my room."
"What?" Calypso said, "no, we're in the living room with the boys."
"No, open your eyes," I told her. Calypso opened her eyes slowly and looked around the room.
"Oh, where are the boys?" She asked.
"Probably still on the couch or something sleeping," I said getting out of bed with Calypso following me. We went to the mirror to fix our clothes and hair, then went out the door and down the stairs. When I heard a faint voice in the kitchen.
"Hey, I hear something," I whispered to Calypso.
"Me too," she replied. We tiptoed closer to the kitchen and leaned up against the wall.
"So what did you and Rowan talk about in here last night?" It sounded like Dominic.
"Nothing," that must have been Matias.
"It couldn't've been nothing. You walked out of there with your whole face red." Dominic stated.
"Fine....... we talked about feelings," Matias mumbled.
"Did you tell her your true feelings for her?" Dominic asked.
"Half," Matias said.
"HALF! What do you mean half?!?! You need to tell her!" Dominic yelled.
"Shhh, be quiet you might wake them up," Matias snapped. "I can't just say that I'm in love with her this soon, she might get scared and run away." I gasped and looked over at Calypso who was smiling.
"Dude, it's obvious she feels the same way," Dominic told him.
"Well, I don't know 'cause she hasn't told me," Matias said.
"That's probably how she's feeling also! Rowan doesn't know that you're in love with her, and I don't mean you just love her, I mean you're IN love with her!" Dominic yelled.
"Shut up, they might hear you," Matias hissed. "And what about you? You're absolutely head over heels for Calypso, and you haven't told her."
"I know, that's why I was gonna tell her when she wakes up, and you are going to tell Rowan when she wakes up,"
"What do you mean?!?! I'm not!! I'm not just gonna barge into the room and say Rowan Martinho, I am truly, madly, deeply in love with you!"
I couldn't take it anymore, I ran into the room, and both boys stared at me. Matias' face was bright red and Dominic had a smirk on his face.
"Too late," I laughed walking up to Matias. I put my arms around his his neck and pulled him in close so that our lips were almost touching.
"I'll leave you two alone," Dominic said with a wink and ran out the door.
"Matias Garcia," I whispered. Matias looked up into my eyes.
"Yes," he whispered back, leaning his head against mine.
"I am truly, madly, deeply in love with you," I whispered, sealing the gap between us with a kiss. Matias wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me as close to him as he could, while I tangled my fingers in his hair.
"Rowan Martinho," Matias whispered pulling away slightly.
"Yes,"
"I am truly, madly, deeply in love with you too."
He kissed me again and started to walk forward slowly until I was pushed up against the wall. After a while I pulled away a little and looked over at the stove.
"Preciosa," Matias whined quietly, still holding onto my waist.
"I need to eat breakfast," I laughed.
"Por favor," he begged, pouting.
"Más tarde," I told him. He let go of my waist and walked over to the bowls on the counter.
"Fine," Matias said. I walked over to him and sat on top of the counter where he was mixing the batter in the bowl.
"What were you and Dominic making?" I asked.
"More pancakes," Matias said, not looking at me. On the table was a stack of pancakes, maple syrup, and some scrambled eggs. "Could you get the flour, please?"
"Yeah sure," I said. I hopped off the counter and went over to the cabinet. I opened it, grabbed the flour and said,
"OK, I-." Before I could finish, I felt someone put their arms around my waist and pick me up. I screamed and dropped the flour onto the floor. The bag broke and a big puff of flour shot up into the air.
"Let's go!" Matias yelled throwing me over his shoulder.
"Where are we going?!?" I screamed. Matias pushed through the door and ran up the stairs.
"To Narnia," he said running to my room, opening the door. He set me down and kissed me passionately. "And we're not coming back."
