'This is your lunch, OK? Now, I put a dollar in there so you can buy some milk....' The movie started. I rested my head on Dominic's shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me.

"Calypso?" He whispered.

"Shh, I'm watching the movie," I whispered back.

"I need to ask you something,"

"Make it quick," I said not looking away from the TV.

"What did your dad do?" Dominic asked. I looked over at him. I could tell he was worried.

"I know it wasn't nothing," he whispered. Dominic tucked my hair behind my ear, revealing the big scar on my cheek.

"Did he do that to you?" He whispered a little too loudly.

"Yes, he just did do that to her Dominic! Jason cheated on Gretchen!" Rowan yelled pointing at the screen.

"OK, calm down," Dominic said.

"Anyway, did he do that to you?" He asked again.

"Yes," I said choking back tears. He balled his hands into fists.

"If he ever touches you again, I swear to god, I'll punch him in the face," Dominic said a little too loudly again.

"Yeah me too! Gretchen doesn't need him!" Rowan yelled, pumping her fist in the air. I laughed silently and continued to watch the movie.

'I know she's kind of socially retarded and weird, but she's my friend, so promise you won't make fun of her.' Here was my favorite part. 'Of course I'm not gonna make fun of her' Almost there. 'How could Janis hate Regina? She was such a good......Slut!'

"Bitch!" Dominic and Matias said at the same time. Rowan and I burst out laughing.

"What?!? You don't just do that!" Dominic stated.

"Exactly!" Matias agreed. "It's messed up." My stomach was cramping because of my laughter.

I leaned back into Dominic's chest, nuzzled my face into his neck, and fell asleep. I dreamed that my mom never died, and that I lived in a big nice house, like Rowan. I dreamed that my dad never drank, gambled, or hurt me. That the things that he did to me never happened and I didn't have the scars I have now, and that it was just a nightmare. But that's all this was, a dream, nothing more. My dream suddenly changed. Instead of a fantasy, I had a nightmare. It showed everything that my dad ever did to me, most of which even Rowan didn't know about.

I woke up in a cold sweat. The T.V. was turned off and it was completely dark. I looked at the clock. It read 1:36 am. I looked back down at Dominic. I could tell he was awake, but I knew he was pretending to be asleep for my sake. I sighed happily and put my head on his chest. He moved his arms to hold me better and whispered,

"It's OK, belle. I got you." I smiled and happily went back to sleep.
