I spun around to see a tall man that was a lot better looking and younger that the other three. He had side-swept blonde hair with piercing blue eyes and very muscular. In his hands there was a gun pointed at us. Calypso hid the hammer in her jacket. He pointed the gun at Calypso.
"I know you have a hammer, put it down," he told her, pointing the gun at the table then back at her. She took it out of her jacket, went towards the table and set it down.
"Sit," he commanded her. Calypso sat down in the chair at the head of the coffee table. He looked at me, the gun still pointed at Calypso, and said to me,
"You, come here." I walked over to him and he pointed for me to sit on the opposite side of the coffee table.
"Alvin! Hold her!" The man roared angrily. Then out of nowhere another man came looking just like the man with the gun. He grabbed my hands and held them behind the chair. The man put the gun on the table and grabbed some duct tape from his brown leather jacket. I looked at the gun and then at Calypso, and she wasn't crying this time, this time she was angry. Her eyes burned and turned a dark, almost black. I looked up at Alvin he was looking at Calypso. I ripped my arms out of his hands and elbowed him in the crotch. He tumbled on the floor as I jumped for the gun. I aimed the gun at Alvin's chest and pulled the trigger. I jumped back a little and watched as Alvin dropped limp to the ground. My hands shook as I came to realization of what I had just done.
"Rowan!" Calypso yelped. I twisted around to find the man had a knife on Calypso's neck.
"Stop!" I growled. He looked at me with caring eyes,
"Just put the gun down," He told me. I glared at him and growled again,
"No! Put the knife down or I'll shoot!"
"You don't know what you're doing!" He said.
"Try me!" I said dauntingly. He put the knife down on the table and backed away from Calypso to the wall. I still had the gun pointed on him.
"Please," He whimpered. I took one last look at him before I shot. The blood splattered on the wall and he slid to the ground. I dropped the gun to the floor.
"I just killed someone," I muttered. Calypso peered up at me,
"You saved me," She exclaimed. I smiled at her, then picked up the knife off the table and cut her loose. She gave me a big hug, and we stayed there for a couple minutes. When we released she sighed.
"We should go home," she advised me. She started toward the door, but I grasped her arm and said,
"Wait."
Calypso spun around amazed.
"What?"
"You have to tell Dominic you like him."
Calypso's eyes went wide as she started towards the door. I followed after her out into the woods.
"And I have to tell Matias I like him too."
Calypso stopped in her tracks and turned around to face me.
"You're crazy," was all she said.
"No, we have to do this, we almost died in there, and I'm not waiting any longer," I demanded, clutching her hand and pulling all the way to Dominic's house.
