"Fuck yes!" Calypso screamed. "I'll get a bottle." She shot off the couch and into kitchen. While waiting for Calypso, we sat in a circle on the ground. She burst into the room,
"Got the bottle," Calypso said holding it up in the air.
"Who wants to spin first?" I asked looking around the circle.
"I'll spin," Dominic volunteered, taking the bottle from Calypso. He placed it in the middle of the circle and spun it. The bottle whirled around rapidly, it began to slow down after a couple spins and landed straight on Matias. His eyes went wide and looked over at Dominic who had a devilish smile on his face.
"Oh, shit," Matias whispered to himself.
"So Matias," Dominic teased, "truth or dare?"
"Well, both are going to be bad anyway, aren't they?"
"Yes, yes they will,"
"Damn it! OK, umm.... Truth," Matias answered carefully.
"Tell Ro-,"
"Nevermind! I want dare!" Matias shouted. I looked over at Matias and his face was completely red.
"OK, are you sure?" Dominic asked him. Matias nodded.
"I dare you to have your boxers off for the rest of the game," Dominic said winking at me. I looked down and blushed.
"What the hell man!" Matias yelled at him. "I don't want everyone to see my dick!"
"But you do wa-," Dominic continued.
"Shut up! I'll just get a towel!" Matias said going to the bathroom upstairs. He came back with a towel wrapped around his waist and his boxers in his hand. He plopped back down next to me, taking the bottle.
"My turn," Matias sighed. He spun the bottle round until it landed on Rowan.
"Preciosa,"
I blushed.
"Truth or Dare?" He asked.
"Dare!" I cheered enthusiastically.
"OK, preciosa," Matias started. "I dare you to take your pants off."
"Wait, why?" I asked. Calypso and Dominic were laughing so hard they could barely breathe.
"So we can be the pants-less couple! Besides, you will still have your underwear on." He reasoned.
"Fine, I guess it's no different than wearing a bathing suit." I sighed. I took my pants off to reveal my black and white striped underwear. Calypso was laughing so hard, she was leaning on Dominic to help herself up. I put my sweatpants next to Matias' boxers and sat back down.
"OK, my turn," I said. I spinned the bottle and after a couple spins, it landed on Calypso. I waited until she stopped laughing so I could ask her,
"Calypso, Truth or Dare." Of course, I already knew what she was going to say.
"Truth," she replied.
"Are you going to tell Dominic about your dad?" I asked. Everyone looked at me wide-eyed then at Calypso, who started at me in shock.
"OK, lets not play this game anymore." She replied. I could see the hate and the hurt in her eyes at the mention of her dad.
"Why, what's wrong with your dad?" Dominic asked innocently rubbing Calypso's arm lightly. She pushed him away and stood up.
"Nothing!" Calypso yelled. "Nothing is wrong with him, he's just a regular person!" She took a deep breath. "Sorry for yelling."
"It's OK," Dominic replied, standing up to hug her.
"Sorry for bringing it up," I apologized, tearing up and looking down at the ground tracing my finger along the hardwood floor.
"It's OK," Calypso said with a sigh. "I just don't like to talk about him a lot." She buried her head in Dominic's chest.
"I'm gonna go put the bottle back," I said grabbing the bottle off the floor, heading into the kitchen. I set the bottle down next to the sink and took a deep breath. How could I do that? I knew I shouldn't've asked that!
"Hey," I heard someone say. I jumped and turned around, it was only Matias.
"Hey, you scared me," I snapped at him.
"Sorry," he laughed and walked up to me. I stared down at the ground.
"Don't be upset," Matias said holding my hands. "You didn't know."
"Yeah, I didn't," I lied. He lifted my chin and kissed me.
"Are you better now?" Matias asked smiling. I smiled and nodded,
"A little."
"How about now?" He asked before kissing again, but longer.
"Yes." I said.
"OK, let's get back to the living room, yeah preciosa?" I nodded. We headed towards the door, until I stopped.
"Wait, one more thing," I said.
"Yeah?"
"Remember when you picked truth first and Dominic was about to say something, but you changed to dare?" I asked him. Matias looked down as his face went bright red.
"What was he gonna ask?"
"He was gonna make me to tell you how I felt about you,"
"I already know how you feel about me. You like me and I like you too," I laughed.
"It might be a little more than that," he whispered.
"Do you love me?" I asked hesitantly.
"I don't know," Matias said, turning away. "But I know I don't just like you, It feels like more." I put my hand on his shoulder.
"We can figure it out together," I told Matias, holding his hand.
"OK."
We walked out of the kitchen. Calypso and Dominic were still lying on the ground.
"What do you want to do now?" I asked quietly.
"I have an idea!" Dominic said. "Why don't we watch a movie instead?"
"Yeah!" Matias agreed. I sat on the couch cuddled up next to Matias, who switched back into his boxers while I still had my sweatpants off. Dominic and Calypso moved the coffee table over and leaned up against the couch. Matias got the remote and turned on the T.V.
"What movie do you guys want to watch?"
"Whatever Calypso wants is fine with me," Dominic said.
"I'm fine with whatever," Calypso replied, still a little angry.
"OK, how about Mean Girls?" I asked.
"OMG yes! I remember the first time we watched it. It became our favorite movie!" Calypso said excitedly. The anger in her seemed to have disappeared. She could never stay mad for a long time. Dominic looked at Matias.
"Well, it's about time we watched our girlfriends' favorite movies!" Dominic said with a wink.
"Yeah, let's see if we like it too!" Matias said with a laugh. Calypso jumped up excitedly while Dominic laughed.
"Come on, play the movie, play the movie!" Calypso said excitedly.
