"What do you mean, you just didn't want to be in school anymore?" My brother yelled at me after a couple minutes of us having a staring contest.

My brother and I were extremely stubborn, although neither one of us would ever admit it out loud. He looked like an exact replica of our dad from his jet black hair to the medium amount of stubble along his jawline to the tip of his chin. He also have thick eyebrows which I always envied, they were currently raised in anger while his jaw clenched in frustration. The only thing he inherited from his mother was her teal colored eyes and fair skin.

"I just didn't want to be there anymore," I shrugged my shoulders in a nonchalant way. "You never went to college why do I have to?"

"I chose to sacrifice the future I could have had so you can a better life than I ever will!" He yelled in response to my question.

"I didn't ask you to take over dad's organization!"

"Oh por favor yo sabía, you didn't want this life," His anger was starting to rise. "Dad wanted one of us to take over. I saw the look in your eyes when he called us into his officina."

I swallowed the lump in my throat, he probably thought I was being an ungrateful brat. I couldn't tell him the truth he would flip out and I don't want to be responsible for someone's death. I couldn't handle it, maybe that made me weak and I was ok with that. Sebastian was right I didn't want this life, this life would only trap me into a circle full of darkness.

"I have so much going on right now," He spoke again when he realized I wasn't going to say anything in return. He stood up and went to the window and glazed at the activity that was going on. "This was not the best time for you to come home."

"Lo siento para being a burden." I scoffed.

"Sabes that's not what I meant," He replied. His voice was ice cold at this point, he turned towards me with a deadpanned expression. "I know there is something you're hiding from me, but fortunately for you I have more pressing matters to attend to."

I remained deathly still as a knock on the door took us out of the standoff we were having. I turned my back on him and went into my walk in closet for some shoes. After grabbing a pair of black and white high tops, I headed back into my room. One of my brother goons was posted outside my door.

"Boss assigned me to your detail." The goon spoke. I wasn't quite sure who he was he looked vaguely familiar but I can't remember if I have ever seen him before.

"You act like I'm the president's daughter." I replied as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Well you are the president's sister." He retorted.

"Yeah but not the President's Daughter."

"The President of the United States?" He questioned with scrunched up eyebrows.

"Sí, pero we're getting off topic," I answered in reply to his question. "I don't need a bodyguard."

"Boss said to ignore your pleas about needing a bodyguard."

"He's so annoying."

"You what?" Sawyer yelled as she grabbed a hold of my arms in shock at the news I just shared with her. Currently we were in Starbucks catching up with one another and her yells caused everyone to look at us even my nosy bodyguard. Preston—also—known as my brother goon, agreed to seat a couple tables away from us.

"Shh," I replied in a whisper as I shot everyone a small smile. "Speak a little louder why don't you." I continued once everyone looked away.

Sawyer's wide blue eyes, held nothing but utter shock in them. She couldn't believe I had a one night stand with a random guy. Quite frankly I couldn't believe I had a one night stand with a stranger as well, I have always been the relationship type of girl.
