"Did Matís tell you why he wanted us to meet him?" Bash asked as we walked down the narrow hallway to dad's office.
"He said it's about Charlie and Jensen." I replied with a frown.
"Charlie and Jensen? They barely talked to one another."
"He said he has a video of Charlie and Jensen in a heated conversation." I shrugged as we entered Dad office.
The layout was slightly different from when the office belonged to Bash. Instead of the modern black and white color scheme, he switched it to the traditional brown. The bookcase Bash had disposed of was currently back at it's original spot. Bash hated the bookcase he said it was boring and unoriginal. I personally think he despised the bookshelf and dad original office setup because it reminded him too much of dad.
Dad was frowning at the paper work on his desk. His thick black eyebrows were attempting to link together as he leaned back in his chair. Both of his hands immediately ran through his mildly curly black hair. His teal eyes turned toward our direction before he diverted his attention to the computer sitting at the edge of his brown desk.
"Sit." He demanded.
Bash and I looked at each other, our sibling connection immediately clicked. Just by making eye contact with one another we could tell something unimaginable had happened. Cautiously we did as we were told, for a few minutes we sat in silence waiting on dad to speak. He was tapping away on his computer, my nerves were on edge my bottom lip slid into my mouth in nervousness. The constant bouncing of my leg was unstoppable.
"Watch." He demanded before turning the computer towards us. He then sat back again and gazed at us clearly watching our reactions.
The video began with Jensen pacing back and forth as he looked at his phone repeatedly. Immediately he stuck his phone in his pocket and a genuine smile spread across his face. Brown tresses came into view, Jensen immediately enveloped her in his arms. Charlie back was facing us giving me a clear sight at Jensen face. He displayed tenderness as he pulled away from her. His face twisted in mock pain as she balled her fist up and roughly slammed it into his arm.
"You asshole, Why did you not tell me you were coming here?" Her voice bellowed as she placed both hands on her hips.
Bash and I looked at one another in shock. How do they know one another?
"It was a spare of the moment type of thing, my girl wanted to come home so she could visit her brother." He shrugged as he nursed his arm.
She tilted her head to the side. "You have a girlfriend? You never told me about her, How long have you two been dating? When do I get to meet her?"
"A little over a year now, but don't hurt m—shit!" He yelled as she continuously hit him. He simply attempted to block her hits, I don't wish any harm towards her but he never—not once—did he hit her. I'm a hundred percent positive I wouldn't have been able to get away with hitting him repeatedly.
Who is she to him? She has to be someone whom he holds at a high position. He simply laughed his face was lit up with a smile and I couldn't help but feel a tug at my heart. He use to give me that smile before his—death—exit out of this world.
"You little bastard! I can't believe you, we talk on the phone everyday. How could you not tell me?" At the end of her mini speech I detected a hint of sadness.
