Reign POV

Axel dipped the thin paintbrush in the red colored paint can, before brushing it in even strokes across the canvas. He was completely engrossed in the painting, he didn't even know I was watching him as he stroked unidentified lines. My phone started buzzing from on top of the counter, after grabbing a hold of it I looked at the caller id and internally groaned. Jensen name flashed across the screen—again.

I looked at the phone as it continued to ring, maybe I should get my phone number changed. I threw the phone on the other side of the mattress and slung an arm over my head. Before I tossed my phone, Jensen call had ended and showed Bash had called an hour ago. Charlie and Bash seemed like they were really in love with one another but I couldn't shake this feeling about Charlie she seemed different and I'm not totally sure if it's a good different.

Last night was exciting, after I hoped on his motorcycle. I hadn't ridden a motorcycle since I was in my senior year of High School. I went to a private school, dad tried to keep me hidden from the public eye as much as possible. At first I thought he wanted to hide the fact that he had a daughter because in the biker industry a daughter would make you weak.

Not only would you seem weak but she would be used as your weakness. They believe women are subhuman and vulnerable. That wasn't why dad kept me hidden, he kept me hidden because he wanted me to take over the club. Instead of going to NYU, I was suppose to attend an academy that trains people—women— and make them into outstanding warriors. He was extremely disappointed in me when I chose to go to college.

I had felt guilty because not only did I disappoint my dad, I forced Sebastian to go down a path he also wanted no part of. Bash wanted to get as far away from dad and the Sons, see dad treated Bash like crap. Till this day I have no idea why I got his unconditional love whereas Bash received nothing but hatred. All he wanted to do was make dad proud a—.

"Hey your up." Axel said. He was currently standing up and had swiftly moved away from his canvas.

He was only being covered by grey baggy Nike sweatpants. Which left his torso completely exposed to my undivided attention. This guy was seriously packing his fair torso was well defined if I do say so myself. I slipped my bottom lip in between my teeth, I heard a chuckle escape his talented mouth. A glare was released from my eyes as I pulled a pillow that was next to my head and threw it at him. I had every intention to hit his head but he caught it much to my dissatisfaction.

"It's not my fault," I replied as I got out of his bed and headed towards the bathroom. Before I got to the bathroom I slapped his torso then turned around with a bright smile on my face. "Maybe if you put a shirt on people wouldn't ogle."

"I guess it's a good thing I put pants on otherwise your eyes would have wondered lower than my torso." He raised an eyebrow almost as if he was daring me to deny it.

I wanted to deny the truth but who am I kidding. "Just go make me some breakfast."

"How do you know I can cook? Maybe my cooking is complete shit."

"Well if you can't cook and I can't cook I guess you're buying us some breakfast," My eyes lit up at my statement. "Let's go to IHop, I could get chocolate chip waffles, bacon and shredded hash browns."

"That would be nice wouldn't it." He replied.

"Yeah." I was extremely happy I normally skip breakfast because I never feel like eating when I first wake up.
