Jason's p.o.v.

I stepped in and my mouth nearly fell open in shock. The alphas had complete control over the entire pack. Their were five others besides the alphas and they all looked like misbehaving children and they settled into various places around the living-room. A sudden yelp from the younger blonde male made me look up to see the young female glaring at him. “You met me earlier, but this is my husband Nick, our friends Tasha and Ayden (they're married) and then there's Isaac, Ravyn, and Alexander.” Roze said motioning to each of them.

“We kind of adopt all the strays.” Nick shrugged. “Isaac was part of my last pack, they didn't know I was an alpha. We found Ravyn on the side of the road, Natasha and Ayden came to find us, and Roze found Alex when she went to check on our friend Adrian, who's human. I saved Roze when she was still human, but Cole turned her anyways.” Nick shrugged.

“Actually, that's what I was sent to speak to you about. The council has found Cole guilty of unlawfully hunting humans. He has a death sentence hanging over his head and no one can find him.” Isaac snorted at that.

“He's dead.” He shrugged.

“He is, I killed him because even though Rozelynn was still human at the time, she is my mate. I didn't believe that they should be hunting humans either. Isaac is the only surviving member of that pack. He left with me the instead of hunting.” Nick admitted. My eyes darted back to Alex who sat in the corner.

“Actually, the council would like to meet all of you, if you have time.” I admitted.

“I think it's best if Tasha and I stay close to home, at least until our babies are born.” Roze answered. I nearly choked when I heard her.

“Werewolves can get pregnant?” I gaped.

“Tasha and I are both wolves and we both became pregnant after becoming wolves. Though obviously she's farther along than I am.” Roze shrugged. Alexander stood slowly and turned to me.

“Where are you going when you leave here?” He asked slowly.

“Actually, I'm not sure. Would you like to come with me?” I asked on sudden impulse.

“I would. Nick and Roze are good people, but everyone here is already in mated pairs. Not that I'm looking for a mate, lets face it, it's a little impossible for me to find a mate.” Alex shrugged.

“Why would it be impossible for you to find your mate?” I asked finally.

“Mate implies opposite sex, I don't exactly eat on that side of the fence.”

“So, I don't like chicks either. It doesn't mean we're doomed to go without mates. Your mate is the one person in the world who is perfect for you, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be the opposite sex. I know mates who are both male.” He shrugged.
