Nick's p.o.v.

Alex smiled up at me and shrugged. “Thank you Nick.” He mumbled. And then looked up at Roze who promptly started crying. “Roze! Don't cry!” He looked panicked and then edged away from me as if I was going to murder him. Instead I swept my arms around my wife and let her bury her face against my chest.

“Don't worry Alex, I'm pretty sure this is part of the whole pregnancy hormone thing.” I pointed out shooting a glance to Ayden who cast a look at his wife and nodded. “Call, if you ever need anything, or if you just want to talk.” I called and handed him a wad of cash. “Be careful kid.” I warned and he blushed and grabbed his backpack stuffing the money in his pocket without looking. Roze sobbed a goodbye and I pressed a kiss into her hair.

Alex followed Jason out the door with a light wave. Isaac glanced over and Ravyn giving her a strange look and then shook his head. “So am I still on that ban that we discussed a few weeks ago?” Isaac asked suddenly. Ravyn smacked him and gave him a dirty look and stood slowly.

“Ignore Isaac.” She shot him a glare. “Come on Roze, you, Tasha, and I will go upstairs and watch sappy movies.” She offered and both women nodded following. I glanced at the guys.

“So are you terrified or excited?” Ayden asked.

“I'm excited, but I'm also quiet a bit older than you and I've always wanted children of my own. For a while I considered adopting but then I realized that it was an impossibility because what we are.” I shrugged as shoulder and dropped onto the couch. “I'm a little anxious about the whole actually baby stage, but I figure we'll get through it.”

“Lucky you, I'm still terrified. I know I'm going to love that little boy, but babies are so tiny, and well, we're not exactly small.” He spread his hand out flat to prove his point. We settled into out various spots and watched the television.

I was gently shaken awake a couple of hours later. “Nickolai, wake up, it's late, lets go to bed.” I sat up slowly and saw Rozelynn leaning over me in her silk robe. The belt was cinched tight and I caught myself wondering what she had on underneath it. I caught her hand in mine and pulled her close so I could slant a kiss across her lips before I picked her up bridal-style and carried her up the stairs. She wrapped her arms around my neck and rested her head against my shoulder. “I love you, Nick.” She whispered. I pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead as I pushed open the bedroom door.

“I love you, too.” I promised as I settled her gently on the edge of the bed and went back to close the bedroom door. I peeled my shirt off and tossed it at the hamper, my jeans quickly followed and I slid onto the bed in my boxers. Roze slid off her robe and tossed in on the dresser. I turned to kiss her goodnight and my breath caught in my throat. She wore a white corset trimmed in black lace with the matching underwear.

“What do you think?” She asked giving me a wide-eyed innocent look.

“I think I just swallowed my tongue.” I rasped huskily as my body practically sat up and begged. I caught her around the waste and pulled her against my chest. “I didn't know you owned anything like this.” She just smiled and kissed me playfully.
