Nick's p.o.v.

I picked Roze up and tossed over my shoulders while she laughed. I dropped her on her feet in front of her dresser and went and grabbed clean clothes. She cranked on the water and adjusted it so that it was just right. I flopped down on the bed and kicked off my boots and peeled the shirt over my head. My gorgeous wife stuck her head out the bathroom door and told me the water was ready. I slid out of my jeans and into the shower with her. “I should probably get off my lazy ass and actually move my stuff in with you, considering we are married and I sleep in here anyways.” I teased.

“I was wondering if you were going to or not.” She teased as she rinsed her hair. “Do you think I should swing by and check on Adrian after I drop you off. See how bad he's actually hurt.” She asked as she stepped out from under the spray.

“Someone probably should, just be careful. I may like Adrian, but I don't exactly trust him to keep you safe from other hunters.” I kissed her forehead and we both finished our shower. I pulled on my jeans and glanced up to see Rozelynn in her panties and a bra. She winked at me and went to the closet, when she came out she was in tight jeans that molded to her curves and a tank-top. “Let me go give my keys to Ayden and then we can go.” I said as I jammed my feet into combat boots and pulled the laces tight. I wore a black Metallica shirt with dark jeans and combat boots, I looked like a normal human. I laughed and looked over at my wife, she was hot, no two ways about it.

I handed my keys off to Ayden and said a quick goodbye. Roze was waiting in the car when I slid into the passenger seat. I grinned until I walked into the coffee shop. It was a disaster, one of the new girls was crying, and the kid who was trying to figure out what was what looked frustrated. People were crowded around the counter verbally abusing the poor kid. “You take care of these people, I'll grab the girl and take her into the break room.” Roze said and kissed me quickly. I grinned and hopped up on one of the tables, no one noticed my until I placed my thumb and index finger against my mouth and whistled high and shrill.

“Hey, sit down and shut up. We'll get this sorted out in a minute.” Roze was laughing as she winked at me. I leaped from the table and planted my hand on the counter vaulting over it. The boy behind the counter looked at me and stuttered.

“You...c...can't be back here.” I just grinned.

“Oh Nick! I thought you were off for the next two weeks.” A chesty blonde giggled as she said it flirtatiously.

“I was supposed to be, I actually just got back from my honeymoon early this morning.” I answered and cast a grin at my wife. “I'm Nickolai Spencer, and you are.” I asked the kid. I grabbed my apron from a hook and pulled it on before offering my hand.

“I'm Kane Sullivan.” He said softly. “What happened to Adrian?”

“He called me about an hour ago, he's sick.” He nodded. “Who's the girl?” I called towards Roze.

“Her name is Anna Snow.” Roze answered.

“Does the red-head work here too?” Kane asked softly. Roze laughed and held out her hand.

“I'm Rozelynn.” He shook her hand. “Everybody calls me Roze though.”

“No, Roze doesn't work here, she's my wife.” I answered shooting the kid a glare as he checked her out. Kane just about choked on his tongue at that.

“You help Kane get situated and I'll be right back with Anna.” I nodded and watched her walk towards the restrooms with Anna in tow. I turned my attention back to get everything in order. By the time the girls got back I had several orders of coffee ready to go and Kane was getting the hang of all the machines. Roze's hair was drying in loose curls that tumbled down her back to her waist. She grabbed the extra apron off the hook and scooped up one of the trays.
