Chapter 19
Echo's POV
After Leo hit Gannon a few times, I moved to stop him. I was successful, but when Leo grabbed me by my shirt I froze and started to hyperventilate. He let go, and I was sitting on the floor covering my head. Ethan put a blanket over me and soon the room was silent. Leo kneeled down next to me and started to speak, I rebutted what he was saying about hurting others, and eventually we were hugging. I know I'm an idiot, I know I'm foolish but he makes me feel safe. Something that was false around Gannon.
Leo was called from the room by Marco, and Clara came into my room and sat with me. The maids were putting new bedding on my bed, and cleaning my room which I tried to help but Vinny was with me too. He had me sit as they did their job.
"So we're taking you out." Clara said and I shook my head. "Yes. We're going out for the day and then out somewhere tonight." She said with no room for argument. I just nodded and said okay.
I was forced to shower again, and get dressed. I was in jeans, and a muscle tee shirt. My underwear matching like always. I slipped on some shoes and dried off my hair completely then braided it to one side. I grabbed my things and met Clara downstairs in the kitchen like she said.
When I entered I saw her speaking with that other girl...Morgan I think. Both smiled at me and I nodded once in acknowledgment.
"Are you really going in that?" Clara said smiling. I shrugged and looked down at my outfit.
"Are you going in that?" I said back and she laughed.
"Come on already." I heard Vinny say impatiently. Us four made our way to the front door and down the patio to the car waiting for us. Morgans brother was standing against the car waiting. When he saw Vinny he smiled.
"Shall we?" He said opening the door.

"Come on." Vinny said to me holding the door open. I shook my head and said no. "I will drag you from this car. I wanted to take you out for some shopping, so let me do that." He said taking my hand. I got out of the car and looked at him with a wary expression. There were small shops down the road for as far as I could see, and what seemed to be a market type deal with so many things.
"I'm fine." I said and Vinny put an arm around me smiling gently.
