Trapped in Darkness

Ash and Serena have started their search for the lost townspeople and are making their way towards the last known area of the lost townspeople. "Those people seemed so afraid, this Team Eclipse must be a really evil group of people" Serena says. "Taking advantage of innocent people when we are in a horrible time like this" Ash says clenching his fist "You would have to be a truly bad person to do something like that". "Don't get upset Master, it sounds like we'll be running into this Team Eclipse sooner or later" Lucario says "From the stories I've heard of your past I have no doubt that we will try to stop them". "Thanks Lucario" Ash says sincerely as his belly grumbles loudly "Could we stop for a food break though?". Serena laughs "With how much you eat, our food wont last long " Serena teases "We've been travelling for a while now anyway, maybe we should setup camp and rest for a few hours".

Ash and the others quickly find a small clearing to set up camp for the next few hours while they rest "I'll setup the tent, can you go collect some firewood Greninja?" Ash asks and Greninja nods and quickly jumps away out of sight. "I guess that leaves me to make something to eat than huh" Serena says with a smile as Pikachu jumps onto her shoulder "Aww do you want to help me Pikachu?". Pikachu nods happily with a grin on its face "He just wants to find the ketchup again" Ash jokes causing Pikachu to put an innocent look on its face. "I'll find you some ketchup anyway Pikachu" Serena promises causing Pikachu to rub its cheeks against her face in affection. "Traitor" Ash laughs "Come on Lucario you can help me setup the tents". Lucario doesn't reply however as its to focused on a blind spot in the aura's surrounding them "Lucario you coming" Ash asks again. Shaking its head, deciding to solve the problem later Lucario goes to help Ash.

After organising the campsite and enjoying a nice meal cooked by Serena, Ash and the others are enjoying sitting around the fire, basking in the warmth that it provides. Serena is laying in Ash's arms slowly getting sleepy while Pikachu and Pichu are playing tag running around the small fire. Charizard and Delphox are both resting nearby and Greninja is standing guard hidden in the trees above. Lucario meanwhile is meditating and searching thru the aura's around them "That blindspot has gotten closer" Lucario thinks to himself "This has never happened before, what does this mean?". "Let's all get some sleep guys, we'll keep going in a couple hours" Ash announces as he carries an alseep Serena to their tent with Pichu and Pikachu following them. After a few moments the other Pokemon have all fallen asleep and Lucario is on his own "Maybe I'll sort this out after a quick nap" Lucario thinks as he falls asleep himself.

Unknown to the group however their actions have all been watched for the last few hours "It appears our targets are having a nap" An unknown onlooker says to her partner "Now is the perfect time to apprehend them". "I agree Simone, this mission was easier than expected" he replies " With the help of our Psychic friend here, that kids Lucario can't even see us coming" he finishes while patting another unknown Pokemon. "You ready Damon?" Simone asks "The boss wants these kids unharmed when we bring them in remember". "He knows how to take the fun outta everything doesnt he" Damon sighs "If we wasnt so damn physcotic I would have been in charge of Team Eclipse by now". "Sure you would" Simone smirks "I bet you could have come up with this brilliant plan like he has". "Lets just go get these kids, I dont know why he wants them so badly though" Damon says " The boy doesn't seem anything special after all". Using the cover of darkness Damon and Simone slowly make their way to Ash and Serenas camp site "Cromatoss use hypnosis to make sure their Pokemon stay asleep" Damon whispers as he and Simone reach the teenagers tent.

Ash is awoken by a muffled noise and then yelps in pain as his side is kicked by what he assumes is Serena "Ash, help me" he hears Serena desperately cry causing him to instantly fully awaken as adrenaline pumps thru his veins. Now awake Ash sees Serenas kicking legs being dragged out of the tent and Pikachu unconscious beside him. " Serena I'm coming" Ash yells as he rushes out of the tent to see his girlfriend with a knife to her throat and shaking in fear "Let her go". "Our boss would like a word with you boy" the attacker says "Your little girl toy here as well". "Who are you" Ash says angrily "Let Serena go" Ash repeats. "Simone of Team Eclispe" the woman says with a sinister smile "Just knock him out". Ash turns to see who she was talking to as he hears Serena scream and feels a sudden rush of pain to the side of his head as everything goes black.

Ash awakens into complete and utter darkness and gasps in pain as he grabs his head where he was hit earlier "Serena, Pikachu, Lucario are you here?" He asks, receiving more silence as a reply. Ash closes his eyes and tries to concentrate on his aura like Lucario has been teaching him "Lucario can you hear me?" Ash thinks again as he nervously awaits to see if his message worked. "Mas... Where ... yo.? I'm with Charizard an. the othe.. but you ... Mist.... are missing" Ash hears Lucario say after a few moments. "Lucario I can't hear you, your message is all jumbled, I don't know where I am and I've lost Serena, keep the others safe and once I've found Serena we'll come find you" Ash thinks, hoping Lucario heard him. "Grenin.. is ...cking you .... Mast.., we ... ...ing".

A sudden scream of pain makes Ash jump as he would recognise that voice anywhere "Serena, where are you" Ash yells as he hears Serena cry out his name in fear. A door into Ash's room opens and an unknown man walks in "What are you doing to Serena" Ash yells angrily as he starts running towards the man only to be punched in the gut and pushed to the ground. "Now now Mr Ketchum, that isnt exactly a nice way to thank your host" the man smirks "You're staying in my base after all". "Why did you bring us here" Ash yells as the man turns away to walk out again "You were interfering with my master plan and needed to be stopped" he replies as he walks out and locks the door behind him. Ash gets up and runs to the door "What do you mean" Ash yells as he slams the door with his fists and hears Serena scream again. "What are you doing to her" Ash yells desperately "SERENA, WHERE ARE YOU"....
