Ash, Serena, their Pokemon and the townspeople they rescued are travelling as fast as possible back towards Rachel and her town. Ash however, still exhausted from whatever he did to Ecillis earlier to save Serena is starting to stumble along causing Serena to help him along. "What happened Master, are you hurt?" Lucario asks through their aura connection worriedly "You look barely able to stand". "I'm fine Lucario, I'm just tired is all" Ash says putting on a brave face. "You scared me Ash your eyes were shining blue and how you sent that man flying into the wall" Serena shudders "It was like something took you over". Lucario smiles at Serena's words as he now knows what happened "You unlocked more of your Aura powers Master" Lucario tells him "It sounds like you focused your power and used it to rescue Mistress". "I don't even remember using it" Ash admits "I saw Ecillis grab Serena and i felt a rise of anger, next thing i know I'm on the ground exhausted". "Aura training takes years to learn Master, what you did was very advanced and your body isn't ready for that kind of power yet, which is why it's weakened you so much" Lucario responds as Ash relays this all to Serena.

"I would suggest not trying that again though Master" Lucario says "You arent ready yet and using it to much would be dangerous, it could kill you". "No complaints here Lucario" Ash replies as he stumbles along with Serena supporting him under 1 shoulder and Greninja on the other. "You're so reckless Ash Ketchum, always running into danger and not worrying about the danger you put yourself in" Serena scolds him "I worry about you constantly. "But that's why you love me" Ash replies as Serena starts to giggle and says "Maybe but could you settle down just a little bit anyway". While this was going on, a young woman from the small group of villagers has made her way over to Ash and Serena.

"Thanks for rescuing all of us from Team Eclipse" the young woman says as she makes her way to Ash and Serena "My name is Kayla by the way". "Nice to meet you Kayla and you don't have to thank us, Rachel sent us to look for you 3" Ash informs her as he continues to stumble along. "Rachel is my mother" Kayla says as she sees Ash stumble again and takes over from Greninja in helping Ash move along "Let me help". "This Ash boy is kinda cute" Kayla thinks to herself as she starts to blush and looks over at Serena"I wonder if that blonde girl is his girlfriend". Serena looks over at Kayla and sees an all to familiar look and blush on the girls face "Oh hell no" Serena thinks to herself as she starts getting jealous "You can back right off now B...H".

Having made their way back to the town the other rescuees quickly run ahead to meetup with friends and family as the town streets are quickly beginning to fill up with people curious about all the commotion coming from outside. "Mum" Kayla yells out happily as she sees Rachel appear and quickly runs into her mothers embrace after she makes sure Ash is ok. The two embrace each other and begin to cry tears of happiness at their reunion and slowly make their way back to Ash and Serena. "Ash is amazing mum, he rescued everyone and his Pokemon are so strong" Kayla says as she looks at Ash with admiration and starts to blush again. Rachel looks on at her daughter and smiles at her actions meanwhile Serena is giving death glares "Oh no she didnt, it's on now" Serena thinks to herself.

Determined to show this girl her place Serena thinks of something " Ash is certainly a hero" Serena says as she turns around and gives Ash a major lip lock kiss in front of everyone. After a few moments she turns to face Kayla with a look of triumph on her face as Kayla looks away sadly. Gathering her courage Kayla quickly gives Ash a kiss on the cheek before Serena can react "Thanks again Ash" she says her face bright red. Ash still stunned from his kiss with Serena doesn't know whats going on as Serena once again has a look of fury on her face as she stares at Kayla. "I can't thank you enough for this Ash and Serena" Rachel says as she hugs Kayla again "But I have a confession to make". "What is it?" Ash asks having slightly recovered from the last few minutes. "Team Eclipse was here a few hours before you were and they promised if I lead you to their base that they would free my daughter and the others" Rachel says as she begins to cry "I'm so sorry for putting you in danger like that". "They knew we were coming this whole time?" Serena asks "You used us as a bargaining chip?". "Yes i did and I'm sorry" Rachel says noticing Serena getting angry "They had my daughter and had threatened to hurt her, I couldn't let that happen". "It's ok" Ash says as he holds Serena's hand in an attempt to calm her down "How did they know we were even coming". "They have spies and agents all over Alola, Team Eclipse was a big problem in Alola even before the darkness, but now they are unbearable" Kayla says as she notices Ash holding Serena's hand.

"As an apology for what I did and a thankyou for saving my people I believe i may know something that may help you on your mission" Rachel tells Ash who instantly perks up to listen to her. "There is a cave, a small walk from here, this cave is covered in drawings and the story they describe is similiar to the prophecy you told me, I don't know if it'll help but it could be a start" Rachel says. "Thanks, we'll check it out" Ash says as he hears Kayla shout out "I'll lead them there Mum". "Thats fine with me dear" Rachel replies as Serena quickly glares at Kayla again "Just stay safe". "I will, come on then lets go" Kayla says happy to be spending more time with Ash. As they turn to leave Ash's stomach has other ideas as it growls loudly "Could we maybe eat first" Ash says as he rubbed the back of his head embarassed.
