Dark Prophecy

"Welcome to the Alola Region" The pilot tells Ash and Serena as they disembark from the plane "Professor Kukui will be waiting for you at his lab down the road here". "Thanks" Ash replies as he helps Serena off the plane and grabs his gear "Come on Serena, I guess we better go see this Professor". "Right" Serena nods "Hopefully he can tell us where to start our search at least". "Good luck you 2" the pilot says "I'm to report back with your progress 2 weeks from now but I've been instructed to stay here and wait for you until then". Ash nods at the Pilot "Guess we better not waste any time then, let's go Serena, Lucario and Pikachu" Ash says as he, Serena and his 2 pokemon start walking down the road.

"It seems alot colder here than at home" Serena says as she shivers to Ash as they start heading towards the Professors lab "Here take my jacket" he tells her as he puts his jacket on her. "Thanks Ash" Serena says as she kisses him on the cheek "Its fine Serena, besides Charizard and Delphox should be here in a few hours". How will they find us anyway? Serena asks him "My connection with Greninja lets me know where he is and he can find me, he'll lead Charizard to us". "You know Charizard is jealous of your ability with Greninja" Lucario says joining the conversation using aura to talk to Ash. "What do you mean Lucario?" Ash asks " Charizard has always been your most powerful Pokemon and now this new guy comes along with this ultimate ability, he isn't taking it very well".

"Why hasnt he let me know any of this before?" Ash wonders disappointedly "He's annoyed at himself Master, he is feeling that he's being replaced" Lucario tells Ash and Serena thru the aura link. "Aww poor Charizard" Serena says sadly "Ash you need to let him know how important he is to you". " I will Serena, just wish i had picked this up sooner" Ash assures her. "That's why he is pushing himself flying all the way here, he is pushing himself to get stronger, he's been off training every day since he came over from Professor Oaks" Lucario finishes. "I'll talk to him, he needs to know that no matter what, that he is important to me, we have so much history together I won't let this get between us" Ash says.

Ash and Serena along with Lucario and Pikachu make their way to the small town where Professor Kukui's lab is located and make their way to his lab. "Professor Kukui are you here" Serena says while Ash knocks on his door "Its Ash and Serena from Kalos". "I'm coming, just wait there" Ash and Serena hear a new voice tell them as the door opens a few moments later "Come inside you 2, we have much to discuss". Professor Kukui leads the duo and the 2 Pokemon into his lab and begins to tell Ash and Serena about their mission. "2 months ago while on a dig an associate of mine unearthed a tablet" Kukui explains as he hands Ash and Serena some files "This tablet took a few weeks to translate but I finally figured it out with the help of Professor Oak".

"The ancient Pokemon Sungaleo and Lunala" Ash says and the Professor nods "Indeed, this tablet spoke of their ancient rivalry and the balance that they help maintain in the world". "But it also spoke of an ancient prophecy that predicted one day Lunala finally winning over Sungaleo and plunging the world into an eternal darkness" the Professor says. "That's what Oak told us, he sent us here to try and find any traces of them" Serena says "We dont know where to start though". "Perhaps the 2nd part of the prophecy may help lead you to your first place to search" Kukui tells them.

"When the world is dark and dying Lunala waits atop the place where the final light shines to battle the fire trainers greatest ally, with its great powers enhanced by 3 gems, this final battle will decide the world's ultimate fate". Kukui tells them "With his golden haired maiden, friend of lightning and soul partner behind him, they all will be the final hope for the world. "Wow, how are we supposed to do all that" Serena says in disbelief "It all seems so impossible". Meanwhile Ash is bursting with excitement at the enormity of the task in front of them "Don't worry Serena, it'll be fine, its never stopped us before" Ash says to her. "I know, I'm just glad we can do this together" Serena says as the 2 hug.

"When I told this part to Professor Oak he instantly told me about the pair of you and your history when it comes to the legendary Pokemon of the world young man" Professor Kukui says. Rubbing his hair in embarassment Ash laughs at the truth of the Professors words as a loud crash can be heard from outside, quickly followed by a ferocious roar. "Master, I believe Charizard and the others have found us" Lucario says with a smile "Haha we better go out there and see them" Ash says as he goes and gets his coat. "Hey Serena, can you stay here? Ash asks "I'm going to talk with Charizard". "Sure, just dont be to long, Professor Kukui has just offered us a room to rest in before we head out in a few hours" Serena says as she gives Ash a quick kiss goodbye.

"Hey Greninja and Delphox, can you guys go inside, I need to talk with Charizard for a minute" Ash asks as the 2 nod and head inside to be with the others leaving Ash and Charizard alone. Ash looks at his first ever fully evolved Pokemon and a sense of pride comes over him, Charizard just flew across an ocean with 2 passengers and he doesn't even look tired. "Let's go for a fly Charizard" Ash says walking up to his Pokemon as it kneels down allowing him to climb on " We need to have a chat"...
