I stepped out of the shower, running my fingers over my skin, staring at my face in the mirror. My stomach didn't look right to me, my breasts are practically nonexistent and my backside is small. I have no curves. I look prepubescent.

I slid a shirt on and pulled on some sweatpants, and climbed into bed in my room. I looked over at Evan on the other side of the room, sitting on his bed.

"Hey Evan," I said.

"Yeah Katie?" He replied.

"I met this girl today, her name was Aphmau. I don't know why, but I just... I'm comfortable around her." I told him. Evan is the only one who knows I'm gay, other than Jeffry and Nicole. I hate being in the closet, but my dad is homophobic.

"Sounds like you like her," he said.

"Maybe, but I doubt I have a chance with her," I sighed.

"Just see where your relationship goes Katie, don't assume she's straight." He winked. I couldn't help but grin like an idiot.

"Tommorow's the day," I said, in a serious tone. He nodded, looking distant.

"Thanks Ev," I told him, "g'night,"

"Night," he turned out the lights, and I slowly dosed off.

I didn't have nightmares this night.

I was dreaming about us together.

I've never felt this way about someone, someone I barely knew.

I'm a stranger to love, but Aphmau... She swept me off my feet.
