"And feeling nature's glow, But all the land is owned, There's none left for you or for me -" Katelyn sang under her breath, in more of a whisper than the actual song.

"It's always sad songs with you, isn't it?" I interrupted her. She scowled.

"It's an amazing song, it's not even that sad," she chuckled, though her eyes displayed otherwise. I looked at her concerned. She gulped.

"You don't sound okay Katelyn.. Are you sad?"

"Forget it," she muttered.

"Katelyn, is everything alright?" I repeated.

"It's fine, everything is fine." She refused to meet my eyes.

"You aren't a convincing liar Katekyn, just be honest with me,"

"I said it's fine!" She raised her voice, clearly on edge.

"You're full of it, just, be honest with me!" I yelled at her. My gaze softened as those alluring blue eyes were turned glassy. "Katelyn?"

"No, Aphmau, everything is fine!" she breathed, "I just want a break, I just want to be happy. Is that too much for a person to want?!"

I brought her close to me for a hug, and we melted into each other's embrace. Standing out in the middle of the street in the middle of the day, not a care in the world as I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and she put an arm around my waist.

It was a simple kiss on the cheek, my lips meeting her pale skin. She pushed my face away from her's and gently cupped my cheeks in her hand and looked at me, tears flowing down her cheeks and a smile on her face.

"You know, you make me so so so happy Aphmau,"
