~4 Months Later, Audrey's POV~
It was the last day of school before Christmas break. Lord I need a break. A very long one. I'm almost done getting ready for school. Just putting makeup on. A grey and purple smokey eyeshadow with winged eyeliner. And false eyelashes that make me feel like I can blink all the bitches away.

The last few months I've been wanting to dabble more in makeup and for my birthday Alice and Juliet got me a ton of it and showed me how to use it. Jared got me a black leather jacket with studs and I've worn it everyday since. Andy got me a gift card to Hot Topic which will be in good use. Jake and Jinxx got me custom guitar picks. They're glittery black with white angel wings on them. CC got me an easy bake oven. He told me he wanted me to make him a cupcake everyday for him and I laughed and thanked him for it. And Ash. Well maybe I should catch you up on him.

I was utterly shocked about what he told me that day. That his girlfriend had a baby but died giving birth to her. And I'm the baby. I'm Ashley's daughter. Every time I look in the mirror I try to find Ash in me. He acts more of a dad than he had before and he seems happier and less weighed down. I'm trying to call him dad more but every now and then I still call him Ash. He told me he was so scared of telling me because he was afraid I wouldn't understand what he did those years ago. But I did. I wasn't angry or anything all I could think about was comforting him when he thought of mom. So all in all Ash and I became closer as father and daughter.

His birthday present sits in my drawer in a black velvet box. I go over and open the box. It's a silver locket that belonged to Laney, my mom. It's sad to think I'll never meet my mom. But hey I have my dad and I'm lucky to have him. Sometimes when I come home from bad days at school I put it on thinking of her and it makes me feel better. I put it on and put on a sweater and my leather jacket and head out the door with my backpack.

Ash is waiting in the kitchen with a thermos of coffee in hand. He smiles when he sees me.

"Morning Audrey" I grab a few granola bars and a bottle of apple juice and stick them in my bag.

"Good morning dad" He smiles wide when I call him that.

"Last day you ready?"

"Yea can't wait for the day to be over"

We get in the car and drive to my school. We play some "Wake Me Up" music. And no it does not include "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence. It just includes music that simply wakes us up. Mostly rock but occasional pop music. Ash drops me off at school. I say goodbye and shut the door before I let in any cold air in the car. Ash is still writing music with the guys so he heads straight to the studio when he drops me off. Andy and I have worked on the song I made. It's going well but he wants to make sure it's perfect as do I.

I walk into school and head straight to my locker. We take one more final today and thats it. We get out early today so I'm just waiting for the end of the day even though it's barely started. A knock on my locker door startles me. I turn to see Evan smiling down at me.

"Hey Evan." His icy blue eyes are intense today. His black hair is left kind of wavy instead of his usual straightened look. He grew like 3 inches and it only took those 3 for me to have to look up at him. He stands quite close to me and makes me feel weird. I try to shake the feeling off.

"Morning to you too. What finals do we have today?" He's so unorganized I have Evan in 4 classes the poor boy can't keep up.
