A Little Piece Of Her

~Juliets POV~
"Okay so what color are you looking for? Any sparkle? And how big of a heel can you wear?" I ask.

"I think something dark like maroon. Definitely some sparkle, and I don't know I've never worn heels." Audrey says.

Audrey is going to this winter dance tonight with Jared. It's so adorable! She told Ash but he had to go in the studio so he dropped her off at my place. And now we're shopping for the perfect dress!

She seems to be taking the whole Ashley-being-her-real-dad thing pretty well. In fact they seem closer than ever. I'm happy to see them like that. Before Ashley was miserable and there was no sparkle in his eyes. But I know he sees Laney in Audrey and I think having her finally with him keeps him going. Just a little piece of her in their child.

I search through all these sparkly dresses and pick out a few. One is long and flowy. It's grey at the top and cascades a royal purple to the bottom. It dazzles with rhinestones all around. I think she'll like this one. The other is a medium black tulle dress. It's lacy and kind of sexy. Shit I'd probably wear this!

"You find anything?" I say looking around the corner for Audrey whose looking at a rack of dresses.

"Yea I found this one. I think its really cute!" The dress is a frosty blue with a sparkly belt around the waist. It's long and has a turtle neck kind of thing. It's velvet which is a bonus. I fall in love with anything velvet!

So I hand her my picks and she goes into the dressing room. While I wait I check my phone for messages.

Ashley- "Everything going well?"
Juliet- "Oh yea we're both having fun! She seems real happy too (:"
Ashley- "Good (: I love to hear that oh and your fiancée ate a bunch of candy bars prepare to deal with a rampaging giraffe when you get home

"Okay I'm ready!" Yells Audrey from the dressing room.

"Let me see girl!"

And she glides out in the purple dress with a wide grin on her face. She twirls and poses like a model. I used to do that with my mom when I was little. I always got a chuckle out of her.

"So what do you think?"

"It looks gorgeous! You sparkle with every turn and this dark purple really is your color!"

"Thank you! Oh I feel so pretty..."

So we grab the dress and stroll to the shoes and pick out some nice 2 inch heels. They're not too tall and they go great with the dress. I can't wait till Jared sees her!

~Audrey's POV~
We get home and I say a quick hi to Ash and run up the stairs with my dress and heels. Juliet stays downstairs and says hi to Ash for a while and she soon comes up with me.

I'm in love with this purple dress. Im a little worried about those heels but whatever i think I can make it through the night with them. I'm so excited for tonight and I couldn't stop thinking about Jared.

I have about 3 hours to get ready. I think we'll have enough time till Jared gets here. Honestly I don't expect this to take long. But I don't know what all Juliet is gonna do to me. She first starts on my hair by curling it all up and drenching it in strong hold hairspray. She pins some of my curls up with barrettes that have diamonds on them.

"And now for the makeup." Juliet says. She brings out this palette of shadows from her house and opens it up. It's a rainbow of beautiful shades of pinks, blues, browns, purples, and even a few glitter ones.
