Your Power Is At Fault

An hour and a half of spending time with Will. He wasn't that bad. Not bad at all actually. We stayed in his room, listening to music and talking. Will was actually really interesting. He and I had a few things in common. Partially the same music taste even.

It was about 4:30 when Hazel texted me.

Neeks I'm home. Where are you?

I'm at Will's. I'll be home in a minute.

"Hazel just texted me. I'll be off." I said to Will and grabbed my school bad from off the floor.

Awe neeks you have a friend! Yay :) Hazel repsonded. I rolled my eyes and decided not to answer.

"Okay. I'll come by your house for the party?" Will asked.

"Yeah, I'll be ready. See ya." I said and walked out his bedroom. Im kind of glad he didn't walk me down to the door, as that would be more awkward than what our friendship already is.

I opened Will's front door and stepped outside. It was still cloudy and wet outside but not raining.

Walking outside, across the street I was happy to see neither Persephone's car or my father's car, were in the drive way.

"Haze, I'm home." I said opening my front door.

Hazel's room to her door opened and she came to the stairwell and leaned on the railing, resting her chin on her hand. I walked over to the bottom of the stairs and looked up at her. "How was Will's?"

"It was fine." I answered making my way up the stairs, "You're acting calmer than usual Haze. Are you sick?" I said jokingly and waved my hand in front of her face.

"Yeah Neeks I'm fine!" She smiled in her usual cheery voice.

"Good. I don't need a glum Hazel," I turned toward my room but then looked back, "And neither does that boyfriend of yours." I teased her.

"Nico he's not my boyfriend!" She whined and blushed.

"Okay but we both know sooner or later he'll ask you." I laughed and opened my door.

"Frank doesn't like me that way." Hazel said from the hallway.

"Oh yes he does!" I said in my room. The door was open and I was removing things from my bag on my desk, "Me and Will even made a ship name for you."

"Wait what." Hazel said running into my room.

"Yep." I placed my hands on my hips and turned to her. "It's Frazel." I smiled.

"You told Will about me and Frank?!"

"So there is something going on!" I pointed accusingly.

"I-i didn't say that." Hazel countered.

I ran over to Hazel and hugged her just to bother her. "Aww my little baby sister has a boyfriend!" I looked her in the eyes. "If he hurts you, he's dead." I half joked but gave a serious tone.

"Whatever Neeks." Hazel laughed and walked out of my room.

"Oh yeah, Hazel?" I called out.

"Yeah?" She said hanging in my door way.

"I'm going out with Will tonight so I don't know how long I'll be gone."

"Wait you have a date with Will! Yaaaaaay!" She said dragging out the word and danced around happily.

"No, no! I didn't mean that. We're going to a party with his friends Lou and Cecil." I explained.

"But your blushing!" Hazel pointed and laughed.
