Stiles sighed as he looked around, of course he was the first one to arrive, he's always the first one to arrive whenever they hang out. He puts on his earphones and decided to walk around the park since he rarely go outside. After a few minutes, Allison and Scott still didn't arrive at the park so Stiles decided to sit down on a pale blue bench under a tree. The weather was just so windy and nice so Stiles relaxed a bit and closed his eyes

                                                                          .........................................

"What is the matter with you today huh? The finals are coming up tomorrow and you're messing up the tempo and pressing the wrong keys!" Stiles's mother exclaimed as she hit Stiles's hand really hard.

Stiles tried his best to fight back the tears as they threatened to pour out.

"Again!" Stiles's mother exclaimed.

Stiles nodded and even though Stiles's hands were sore, he started to play but because of his mother's beatings, his fingers were weak and he again pressed the wrong key.

Stiles's mother hits Stiles at the back of his head with one of his music books, "Are you kidding me?! You're pressing the wrong keys again Stiles. Not only that, the way you play the song is more sloppy than usual. You should play as if you're the one who composed it!  Do you really want to win at all?!"

Stiles stared at the floor and watched as his tears drop onto the floor, "I....just..want you.....to be happy."

"Huh?" was all Stiles's mother said.

Stiles looked up at his mother, "I just want you to be happy and to get better!"

Stiles's mother looked at him stunned as Stiles continued, "Every competition I won was for you mother! I thought if I won you would be happy and get better since you're sick. Every achievement...every victory...for you," he took a deep breath, "I bear with your hurtful teaching because I knew you didn't like me suffering but so far it seems like you're enjoying it. Don't you know how painful it is?! How I spent most of my time for your piano lessons instead of playing with my friends? How my hands would be sore for days?" He stayed silent for a while before saying, "I wish you were dead.."

Stiles's mother sat there, silent.

"Mom?"

A pall of silence filled the room.

"Say something!"

Complete silence.

"Mom!"

That was when she collapsed on the floor.

                                                                    .............................................

Stiles opened his eyes, staring at the leaves. The last piano lesson he ever had with his mother. That was 12 years ago yet guilt hung over him like a pigeon constantly following him around. That guilt turned into pain and that pain turned into the reason why he gave up on the piano, never returning to those piano competition and never playing again. That day, his world became monotone, as black and white as the piano keys. That's when he heard it. Stiles took out his earphones and heard the sound of someone playing the violin filled the air. Stiles recognized the song immediately.

Bluestone Alley by Congfei Wei, Stiles thought.

Stiles stood up and followed the sound, quietly humming along to the song. After a few minutes, Stiles found the source of the song. A girl with strawberry blond hair and eyes closed, wearing a skirt and a long sleeve shirt, was indeed playing Bluestone Alley on her violin. As she played it was as if the world slowly regained color again. The notes danced around the sky and Stiles's surroundings became animated and colorful.

He couldn't help but stared at her in astonishment. She wasn't playing like as if she composed the song, she played the song like how she wanted to play it.

After she finished, she opened her eyes and saw Stiles. Stiles was frozen in his position, still captivated by her, trapped under her spell.

Who are you? Stiles thought as they stared at each other.
