The place wasn't far from the park. When they arrived Lydia ran off, "Wish me luck guys!" She turned around, leaving the trio alone.

"Good luck," Allison called out and turned to Scott and Stiles, "Let's go in," she said as she grabbed Stiles's hand and Scott's hand, leading them inside.

Stiles took it all in, the concert hall, the red chairs, the lighting, it all reminded Stiles of his last competition years ago. He felt a sudden stab of nostalgia, he's entering not only the doors of the theater, but the world of music.

                                                                ......................................................

Stiles, Allison, and Scott took their seats in the middle and it took a several performances until it reached Lydia's turn. She walked on stage with her violin, with her hair done, wearing a white flowy dress, the skirt reaching her knees, followed by a guy.

Must be her accompanist, Stiles thought.

Both of them bowed. The man walked towards the piano and sat down as Lydia got into position, ready to play. Lydia took a deep breath and started playing, the man playing along with her. Stiles, being the classical music geek he is, recognized the song.

The Swan by Saint-Seans

The first few minutes of the performance seemed okay to Stiles but as she kept going, something's start changing as well. Slowly, the colors become more vivid and Lydia was trying to say something as she play. She played how she wants to play which makes her talented. Stiles could tell that she was getting lost in the music as she played, even the accompanist was having a hard time keeping up with her. The judges noticed it too.

It's like she's fighting with her accompanist, Stiles thought as he continued to watch her performance.

The music painted astonishment to the audience's faces. Everyone was deep and lost in the music just as she was. Sure, the way she played the song was bizarre but that is what makes her performance beautiful and amazing.

When she stopped playing, the audience applause was louder than the other, some people even threw roses onto the stage.

"WOOO YOU GO LYDIA!" Allison shouted, standing up.

"YEAH GO LYDIA!" Scott stood up and shouted.

Stiles just clapped because he was too stunned at her performance to even stand up. Lydia bowed and smiled, leaving the stage.
