It was four days before Gray was allowed to see Julia again. The nurse told the teenager that the girl had been coding several times during the four days, and they had just finally gotten her stable again. But this time, Gray was not alone. Behind him trailed the pregnant scarlet haired girl, the bubbly blonde, and the punk with pink hair who hadn't said anything once entering through the hospital doors.
Gray, on the other hand, barely spoke to anyone anymore besides Erza and (when needed) his father, but that only occasionally happened over the phone. The only person Gray wanted to talk to was in a coma, and no one knew when or if she'd wake up.
"Oh, welcome back," the young nurse from before greeted with a smile on her face. Her eyes went directly to the very handsome Gray who looked incredibly solemn and upset. "I'm sure you're all here to see Miss Lockser. Am I correct in assuming so Mr. Fullbuster?"
The dark haired teen nodded, letting his dark eyes look around the very pristine room and hallways. "I brought friends this time. I hope that's not a problem," he said, speaking the first words the other three had heard from him all day.
"Not a problem," the nurse replied with a smile, picking up the chart on the counter in front of her. "I was just going to check on Miss Lockser myself, so if you'd all just follow me."
She led the way to the room, opening the door for the other four and allowing them to enter before she closed the door behind her.
"She's stable, and her vitals seem to be getting better. We hope she'll awaken soon, but we have no idea if that'll happen," the nurse told the teens before checking a few things on Juvia and leaving the room without another word.
Gray immediately plopped down in a chair next to the window and peered out the glass. "Go ahead," he whispered, not looking back. "I'll go after you guys."
Lucy rushed to the bedside, grasping onto Juvia's hand. Small tears were brimming the normally bubbly girl's eyes.
"Hi, Juvia," Lucy said, giving a small smile to the sleeping maiden. "It's Lucy, and I just wanted to say that I miss you and I love you. We all do." She leaned closer to her before adding, "Especially Gray. He's been really depressed, and you've only been here for a few days. So if you could come back, that'd be nice. He's been through so much. He doesn't deserve to be sad anymore." Lucy said a few more things to her, giggling a little while obviously still crying before standing up and looking to a sitting Natsu. He sighed with a small smile before holding out his arms and welcoming her as she began rushing over to sit on his lap.
Erza then stood up with a sigh and took the seat Lucy previously occupied. She, like Lucy before her, took Juvia's hand. "It's Erza, you know, the girl who invited you to the party that landed you to meet Gray. You're welcome for that," she began in her sisterly tone, letting her gaze rest on Gray. "He's a mess, by the way. I'm not even going to start saying that I love you and miss you because obviously I do, but I'm going to try to see the brighter sides of things." The scarlet beauty took a deep breath before saying, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, "I'm pregnant, Juvia."
A loud gasp escaped from Lucy's mouth, and Natsu said wide-eyed at such news. Obviously neither knew nothing about it.
"She knew," Gray whispered, not letting his gaze leave the window. "I told her."
"Wait a minute, Gray knew, and I didn't?" Lucy protested, shooting up from Natsu's lap to put her hands on her hips.
"We can fight later," Erza hissed toward Lucy, sending the blonde back to her seat. Erza again turned to Juvia before continuing, "I need some help naming it. I want your help Juvia, and you can't help me if you're asleep in this bed for the rest of your life." Erza finishing up with some touching words, leaving her in tears before standing up and turning to Gray. "Your turn," she said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He replied to a shrug before standing up and walking over to the bed. He stood above the girl for several minutes, not saying anything. He then leaned down to gently kiss her cheek before walking toward to door. "Let's go," were his only words.
"But Gray-," Lucy began.
"I don't want to do any more. I want to leave. If you guys want to stay, that's fine. I'll wait for you in the car," Gray replied coldly, reaching for the door handle and opening the door into the while hallway.
"Rain. You should name it Rain."OKAY I'M SORRY IT'S SHORT BUT IT'S OUT AND YOU KNOW WHAT I'M PROUD I'M PROUD OF MY SHORT LITTLE CHAPTER I HOPE YOU ALSO ENJOYED IT AND PLZ LEAVE A LIKE AND A COMMENT
