"Miss Lockser, do you need any help with your bags?"
The soft voice of a nice kind nurse filled the air as she sent a smile Juvia's way.
Juvia's blue eyes drifted toward the dark-haired male, holding the final load of bags before heading for the door and disappearing through it.
"I suppose not," Juvia chuckled, wincing in slight pain as the chuckle ran through her body.
"Are you sure you're ready to go home, Miss? It has only been a week, and your body suffered a lot of trauma."
Juvia gave the concerned nurse a reassuring smile, nodding her head before saying, "I am more than ready. I've been stuck in that bed, and that boy has not left my side. I'm ready to have some alone time."
The young woman gave Juvia another smile, nodding her head in agreement.
"He is quite the gentlemen. I don't think I saw him leave the hospital once since you woke up," she added, looking toward the door from which Gray recently disappeared through.
"Gentlemen or handful?" Juvia question, leaning back in the wheelchair she was sat in. It felt nice to be finally be able to stretch her legs although she wasn't completely ready to walk much on her own.
"I would say gentlemen, but my guess is you know much more about him than I," the nurse replied, giggling. She strolled over behind Juvia's wheelchair to slowly push her forward into the hallway. "Have you been together long?"
Juvia sighed slowly and said, "A little over two months, I believe? Not very long at all."
The nurse quickly stopped, forcing Juvia to look back at the woman who held a shocked expression on her face. A small giggle left the patient's mouth before she turned back around in the chair.
"I would've guessed much longer," the nurse finally managed to say before continuing to push the wheelchair.
"As would a lot of people," Juvia confirmed. "You aren't the first to ask."
"You two are already that much in love after two months?"
The question came as a surprise to Juvia. She felt her eyes widened as she comprehended what the nurse had just said. It was true; Juvia was so in love with Gray. She couldn't speak for him, but after he spent a whole week at the hospital for her, she knew it was true. As Juvia came back to reality, she realized the nurse had taken her to the lobby, and her eyes focused on the figure coming through the door. Even the sight of Gray brought a smile to her lips.
"Yeah, I suppose we are. He's just amazing. I got lucky."
Gray walked to Juvia and thanked the nurse for taking such good care of her. He walked to the back of the wheelchair and said, "Ready to go, beautiful?"
A blush came to Juvia's face as it always did when the male complimented her.
"Can you come up here real quick?"
Confusion covered Gray's face, but he did as she wanted and walked to the front of the wheelchair. He kneeled down in front of her and let a smile cover his face.
Juvia immediately put her hands on the sides of his face and pulled his lips to her's.
Gray's eyes widened, but he quickly closed his eyes and kissed the girl back. His hand caressed her blue hair until the two pulled away, and his hand remained resting on her beautiful locks.
"I love you," Juvia whispered, giving him a small, loving smile. "Let's go home."
