"Sister, are you okay now?" Carl sat beside Aria who was finally awake. She hadn't spoken much but her eyes were filled with tears which hinted that she had so much to say but she couldn't because it would all seem madness.

"Mama, papa, close the door and leave me alone with Carl." She demanded and they obediently followed her orders.

Carl was puzzled but Aria looked hard at him as she grabbed both of his hands in hers. He smiled but she didn't. He was willing to hear her speak but she didn't know how to. He gave her the most reassuring look but she still felt insecure.

"Carl," she sighed deeply, "I met a man. A man with great pride but that pride perfectly suited him. A man who was powerful and could do anything that he ever wished. I have never in my life seen a man like him."

"Where did you meet him?" He asked, still a little bewildered at the fact that he was being told all this.

"At the bar. Yes, I went to a bar with my head up high. I didn't want to go, it was just my feet which led me there and my heart, since I sensed something odd." She gave a pause and stared outside her window, pretending to analyse the world but she couldn't because this world was nothing more than guilt, hatred and unexpected things. "This heart isn't mine, right? It never can be mine, no matter what happens. It makes me do unexpected things such as drinking and admiring a man who doesn't even know me and I don't know him either but this heart does and he knows the person who's heart this is. I feel it all."

The young boy was staring at her with his eyes widened. He was not just puzzled anymore but he was scared too. Scared of what was happening to his fragile sister and he knew that mother would have the solution until Aria spoke again.

"No one must know this, you understand me young lad?" Aria's voice was so different than what it used to be. It wasn't the soft, squeaky little tone anymore, in fact it was hoarser and more womanly.

He gave a nod before licking his lips which had dried due to the fear of his sister. "Who was the man?"

She smiled, ever so widely. Finally something positive appeared on her face but the smile was short lived since she realised she was becoming gladdened due to no particular reason. "The man was a king."

"King? But we only have a Queen in the United Kingdom."

She chuckled at his childish response before elaborating. "No boy, I'm talking about Conor McGregor, the pride of Ireland."

Silence fell in the room, as if a grim shadow had taken over the place. Carl did not move a single inch, nor did he utter a word for the next five minutes. He just glared at Aria, his large eyes more wider than they were before and she noticed that his brown pupil had just grown a little more in size. He was stunned, he was a senseless stone but Aria pinched him and he whimpered.

"You're fooling me, I know you are!" He stood up and shouted before dashing out of the room like a coward hare.

But Aria knew she wasn't. Whatever she had said was the truth. However, no one would ever believe her in this house because they all had always seen a normal life without any problems. Thus, the only solution which she could think of was to run away.

"Tonight." She whispered out her thought before lying down on the bed and staring at the ceiling.

She stared at it, waiting for the time to tick away. Many times, her mother and her father came to pay her a visit but she would seldom give them attention and would eagerly look at the clock, watching the pointy arrows of the clock turn clockwise, indicating that a had second passed, a minute had passed, an hour had passed, two hours, three hours and finally four hours.

Aria exhaled when that happened. At last, her desired time had come. She averted her gaze on the small hole on her room's door and saw the lights being turned off. Everyone was going to sleep. She jumped out of her bed and quickly gathered all her important things, including her clothes, her passport and some snacks, then she stuffed them all in her big purple luggage bag before rushing for the door.

It was quiet. No one was awake and it was a perfect time to run away from the pit that she was living in for years. Yes, she had suddenly started to hate everything and there was no love left inside of her for the people who had raised her, who had nothing for her but love, who had provided her everything including her life, yet she still felt unthankful. She was now a feelingless being.
