"Why would you pay for her?" Conor rubbed his hand against his forehead while holding his phone against his ear with the other hand.

"She's miserable. The poor girl was so scared and her eyes showed so much of grief. She misses her family, her old life but she just can't go back because she has chosen this path and in this path, she will get no help. But I want to change that, I want us to be the people who'll help her, you get it little bro? I will make her study and I'll make sure that she feels secure, happy and satisfied."

He smiled at his sister's positive thinking and gave a slow chuckle before replying. "You can do whatever makes you happy."

There was a long pause between the two but none of them hung up on the phone, since Erin was sure Conor had something to say and that he was figuring out how to say it. Finally, he gave a long sigh and she could feel him smile on the other end of the phone.

"Erin, thank you for taking her responsibility. It means a lot to me."

She was happy that he finally said it and her voice was filled with joy when she spoke. "Oh Conor, it is alright. I don't know why she does but I know she holds a lot of importance for you. I won't question you on the why part though, because I respect your personal life."

"You've got more respect for me than the media." He laughed. "Oh and Erin, the cake was horrible."

"Conor!" Erin shouted and the two laughed greatly before deciding to hang up and saying goodbyes.

He was joyous from the inside because Erin had approved of Aria without questioning him about her. He knew that he would never be able to explain her everything if she ever asked about why he was helping her, however, that question was never asked and he felt so thankful. As he walked around his room with a mind full of thoughts, his phone started to ring again and this time, it was an unknown number.

"Who is this?" He asked as soon as he picked up the phone.

"Hey, it's Aria. Your sister, Erin, got me this phone as a gift and I did not even get a chance to reject her gift. She said it's going to be useful though, because I can call you or her anytime."

"She was right. By the way, how are you? Are your needs fulfilled?"

"More than just fulfilled. But Conor, I don't want to be a burden for anyone. I just want justice to be served. When are we going to figure out who murdered Anora?"

"Give me some time. I have been thinking about it the whole day and I think we could start by going to the company where she worked at as a fashion designer. It was the Feather Company-"

"Feather Company?" Aria gasped loudly.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. It's just that I saw their advertisement on the newspaper. They're offering a job and I wanted to start working there as a receptionist. It's weird how I get to find out that Anora worked there. Maybe that is why I chose that job at the first place."

Conor went into a sudden deep thought, realising that it was Anora who was controlling Aria but he didn't say anything about it and he refused to speak out his thought. Then, he heard a loud thump on the other end of the phone, as if Aria had dropped her cell phone on the ground, and then came the furious screams.

"Aria!" Conor shouted as he lost his senses. Something was terribly wrong.

Another scream was followed. "Conor! Help me!"

He dashed out of his room before roaring on the phone; "Aria, what's wrong? Damn it!"

"They've got me!"

"Shut up, you little whore!" An unfamiliar voice was heard by him which made him believe that intruders had broken into the house.

"Leave her you stupid little jerks!" By this time, he was on his car but the phone on the other end was hung up.

Conor drove without caring if he would crash, without caring about the speed limit and without regaining his senses. All he could think about was reaching Aria and protecting her and it was due to his mindset that he reached the house before the normal estimated time. He broke into the door of the house and looked around like a lost bird, trying to find his beloved belonging. He didn't find anyone, however, what he found was a note on the ground which he picked up without hesitation. It's contents shocked him, his hands started to shiver and he was speechless after reading it;

'Aria cannot be saved. She does not belong to you and she will never belong to you.'
