Chapter 2

Peter kneeled next to me and his mouth fell open. "W-what?" He asked and I nodded. "I loved you, Peter."

"Does that mean you don't love me anymore?" he whispered and I shook my head. "I don't know anymore. After the way you treated me...... I'm not sure I can deal with it any longer. It all just hurts too much." He looked away and I bit my lip. I wiped my eyes quickly and he looked back at me.

"So what are you saying?"

I laughed. "You of all people should know, Peter. You put people through hell then make them feel like they're in bliss only to be brought back to hell again. What are you playing at?!" he looked away again and I sighed. "You know, I think we have to talk about this later, when you want to be more social." I said and got up, walking away.

Peter chased after my and grabbed my forearm, turning me around to face him. "What?" I asked a bit harshly but didn't take it back. He cringed a little.

"Lexi, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry." He whispered and I shook my head.

"You aren't forgiven."

"Lexi, please!"

I shook my head. "Do you even know what you did, Peter?" He looked at the ground and I just laughed harshly and shook my head. "You think me not forgiving you is bad. Try being in my shoes. You manipulated me, kissed my best friend, broke my heart and plenty more. And through it all, I loved you. But you crushed me anyways without even thinking about who you were hurting. Your lost boys will always be loyal to you, but I don't have to be."

I walked away and this time he didn't chase after me. I climbed up into my treehouse and sat on my bed. Suddenly, I got the creepy feeling someone was watching me. I looked around and saw Emma sitting in a chair.

"I heard about your little.... dilemma, kid." I nodded. "So, you break up with him or the other way around?"

"It was kind of both, but we were never dating. He broke my heart and kissed my best friend. I told him I loved him throughout how he treated me then BAM! He tries to apologize but I refuse to forgive him because it hurts too much. Ya know?"

She nodded. "I sure do."

I bit my lip. "I just hate that he has the nerve to try to ask for forgiveness without even realizing what he's done. And not just to me, but to everybody he's never really helped."

She nodded. "I say, don't let your guards down. Make him see what it's like to feel unimportant and invisible. Make him see that he's not the leader of the pack."

"But that's the thing, he is the leader of the pack."

"Even better. Show him what it's like to be moved down a rank or two. Make him see what it's like to be the one listening to orders instead of giving them."

I nodded. "You're right, Emma. I think I'll go do that. Thank you." She nodded and I exited the treehouse and walked back to the campsite.
"Alright, boys!!!!" I yelled and all commotion stopped. "Lookie here, Pan doesn't feel too well so I'm taking over for a bit."

Some of them groaned and others cheered but Felix stepped forward. "If Pan is out then I'm in charge."

I shook my head, "I am, dorkenstein." Felix grit his teeth and pulled out a sword. I wished for one and pulled out my own. We dueled and it ended with me kicking Felix in the gut and pushing him to the ground, holding a sword to his neck.

I smirked and got off him, lending my hand to help him up. He took it gratefully and got back in line. "Alright dorks, today we are going to learn to actually be productive! Yay!" A few of the boys smirked and I felt like a teacher trying to teach a class of delinquents, etiquette.
