Chapter 11

It's a love story, baby just say yes.

I slipped into my dress, the new one I bought with Emma, Snow and Belle. They smiled as I walked out of the bathroom.

"You look gorgeous!" Snow exclaimed and smiled widely at me. I looked down to the ground, blushing.

"Thank you." I said quietly and then the three of them went to quickly go get changed into their dresses.

In ten minutes we were walking down the streets in heels and ballet flats, going who-knows-where. The girls turned to Storybrooke's very own ballroom and I followed them inside. What was going on at the ballroom?

Inside was the most gorgeous ball ever. Not that I have ever been to one, but I read about it once. The entire floor was cleaned out, not a table in sight, and there were the other fairytale characters all over the room.

"And now, walking in is out guest of honor!" said someone into a microphone.

The lights dimmed and a spotlight was shown on me. My eyes widened and people started applauding. The only thing that got me to smile was all the smiles sent to me. Especially my dad's. That made me jump a little.

I tried to move but I was planted in my spot. Because I saw Peter walking towards me. In a tux. My jaw dropped but I quickly closed it.

"Hello gorgeous," he said and I smiled widely.

"Did you do all this?" I asked, and he nodded solemnly.

"I thought you might've needed something that you can enjoy, forver." I smiled at him widely. "Care to dance?" He held out his hand.

I took it and he led my to the middle of the floor.

"You know, you shouldn't be so nervous. There's nothing to be nervous about," he said as he bowed and I curtsied.

We waltzed as I said, "How can I not be nervous? Everybody in this room is watching me, us. And are those the Lost Boys standing over there?"

My eyes went wide again as they landed on the group of boys dressed in tuxes, talking and shoving their hands in their pockets. They looked...clean.

Peter's face paled when I said that and he stuttered. "Oh, um, yeah. It's them."

I looked up at him. "Everything okay?"

He smiled, using my own sentence on me. "Just peachy."

I smiled wider and we danced until the song ended.

Then there was some background music and I walked over to the boys standing off to the side as Peter went to go talk to Henry.

"My my my, don't you boys clean up nicely." I said sweetly and they all stared at me, jaws dropped.

"Fred, you were right. She's a fucking woman." Jace said without turning his head to look at Fred. I smiled.

"Any of you wanna dance with me?" I asked sweetly, batting my eyes a little bit. Danny, being the protective self-appointed older brother that he is, stepped up and took my hand, kissing the back of it.

"I would gladly dance with you, Alexandria," he said, using my full name and we danced to the music in the background.

"Having fun yet?" he asked and I nodded.

"I can't believe you boys set this up so quickly." I said in disbelief.

"Well, it was all Peter actually. He did everything, coordinated everything, made sure we had your favorite snacks out..." I smiled as he finished his sentence. "And I'm glad you have him. Because he wouldn't be the kinder man-child he is today without you."
