Gray's P.O.V
"Don't worry, I've got him. You guys take care of the others!" Natsu yelled and I smiled.
"Don't have to tell me twice, flaming flamingo!" I charged at Otis, prepared to avenge Tris at all costs.
"Ice make: Eagles!" The eagles wizzed through the air and headed straight towards Otis. With one swoosh of his muscular arm, the ice shattered into shards.
"An ice make mage and a death god slayer? What an interesting pair." He smirked.
"Stop talking and fight me, you monster!" I yelled, swords of ice zooming towards him. He dodged each with amazing spead.
"You asked for it! Roar of the Sphinx!" A cyclone of wind and sand came from his mouth, and I used my arms to protect my face as I slid back.
"Ice make: Hammer!" The hammer crashed down on Otis, causing a cloud of dust to form. When the dust cleared, instead of being flattened into a pancake, Otis held onto it, pushing it up away from his chest. It crumbled into shards.
"Cerberous's Judgment!" A gust of wind hit me as if I had ran into a metal wall, and I went flying backward.
"You know, it never had to be this way." Otis said, a hint of sadness in his voice.
"What do you mean?"
"See, I was once a member of Fairy Tail, along with Aeson and Aglaia. They were my best friends."
"Then why did you kill them?!"
"Because I loved Aglaia. She was beautiful, smart and powerful. Aeson was a useless solid script mage, and yet she fell for him, not me. Aeson knew of my feelings towards her, and yet years later they got married. I was heartbroken, and because of that, I left Fairy Tail to form Death Scythe. But..."
"But what?" I urged him to continue, to tell me the rest of this bullshit of a story.
"But then I learned that they had kids, and I wanted revenge on Aeson more than ever," Otis snarled. "That night, I had never thought of killing Aglaia, only him and the kids. But after I killed Aeson and the kids escaped, Aglaia refused to be with me, and out of rage, I killed her. If Tristitia, had never been born-"
"If she'd never been born, she'd never have been beaten up by you! And if that hadn't happened, she'd never had rescued me and I'd never have fallen in love with her!" I slowly stood up, wiping my now bleeding lip.
"Too bad for you, son. Sadly, you will never get the chance to confess! Whirlpool of Charibdus! " A whirlpool came towards me, and I froze it before it could get too close.
"Wings of the Stymplian Birds!" Razor sharp metal feathers shot from his hands.
"Ice make: Shield!" A wall of ice grew from the ground, and the feathers hit it with a clink.
"Claw of the Griffon!" I dodged as streaks of bright light lashed out at me.
"You're pretty strong, but what about this!" He smiled evilly.
Author: I swear all of these villains like smiling, a lot.
"Wail of the Sirens! " He opened his mouth and a bitter, piercing scream pounded against my ear drums. It felt like my ears were going to explode.
"Ahhhg!" I yelled, clutching my ears. It was soooo painful, and I could feel my head pounding.
"Hehehe," Otis chuckled, watching me as I suffered.
"Ice make: Ear Plugs!" I mumbled and felt chunks of ice form in my ears. Even though my ears were still ringing, the wailing was gone.
"You're quite lucky, son. Not many people have fought me and lasted this long. You're in for a special treat."
"Typhon: Take Over!" His body glowed and began morphing.
Whoever this Typhon was, he was massive. Standing straight, he could've reached the stars. The lower half of his body was made of two coiled viper tails, hissing. Instead of fingers, dragons protruded from his hands. He had enormous wings that could've blocked out the sun. Fire danced in his eyes, and he was truely nightmare worthy.
"Hehehe...you should see your face, mortal!"

Narrator's P.O.V
One the opposite side of the Underworld, Hades sensed something sinister. His eyes grew wide.
"Tris..."
Persephone, who was standing next to him, cupped his cheek in her hand, smiling gently.
"She'll be okay. She's strong, and she has that cloak."
Hades put his hand over hers.
"It's not that..."
"What is it then?"
"I sense HIM."
Persephone's eyes widened with fear. "I sense him, Typhon. "
"Then they are all doomed."

Gray's P.O.V
Even though I was terrified, I kept my head held high. I had to destroy him for Tris' sake. He bellowed again.
"If the gods couldn't destroy me, what makes you sure you can?" My eyes windened. The gods couldn't beat him, yet why do I have such faith in myself?
"I won't loose to you!!" I yelled.
I will defeat your darkness Tris... no matter what.
"Hehehe, you can try. Skin of the Nemean Lion!" Armor grew over Otis, or should I say Typhon.
"No you don't!" I yelled, charging towards him. I then used my ice to freeze his armor, and it cracked and crumbled.
"Ice make: Frozen Excalibur!"
I stabbed him in the gut. He closed his eyes, only to suddenly open them again, a maniacal grin on his face. He flung me aside, pulling out the sword, unharmed. The cut healed from the place I had stabbed him.
"Do you think that I, Typhon, father of all monsters, son of Tartarus, could possibly be killed by such a weak weapon?!"
Son of Tartarus?! That means that he can't be killed here.
But then again, many times in greek mythology, sons have killed fathers, and fathers have eaten children. What if the only way to kill him here was with Tartaurus itself?
That was it. The answer. His Achilles heel.
"Breath of the Hydra!" Poisonous gas came from his mouth, and I covered my own mouth and nose.
I had to buy time for my plan to work, so I ran in a circle around Typhon.
"Ice make: Lance!" It pierced his thigh, but fell out as the wound healed and it melted.
"Petrification of Medusa!" His eyes glazed over with a murky grey color. Covering my eyes, I ran out of his sight range.
"Ice make: Lance!" This time, I aimed it at his eye, causing his eyes to return to their normal color. The spell wore off, and the lance melted and his eye healed.
"You'll regret that! Tail of the Manticore!" Spikes protruded from his back, each dipped in ghastly, green poison. They erupted from his back, flying at me.
I tried to dodge all of them, but one grazed my shoulder. The green poison seeped into my wound, and I could feel my skin boiling.
Nearby, I could hear the sound of running water. Clutching my wound, I sombered over to it.
Before me ran the river Phlegthon. I had felt how hot it's waters were, and I knew it was enough to bring him down.
"This is where you die, fool!"
"No," I said, absorbing the water. "This is where you die- Ice make: Lightning Bolts! "Creating nearly one hundred Phlegthon lightning bolts, I aimed them at his head. He wailed in agony, his head smoking.
He fell backward, a bolt in his forehead. The wound wasn't healing and he started burning from the inside out. Typhon started morphing back into Otis, who lay there, defeated.
I smiled. Now he can't terrorize Tris anymore.
I started walking back, leaving behind a dead Otis. Natsu, Erza, and Lucy were walking this way, and I weakly smiled, wincing at the pain that still occupied my shoulder. Tris was also drawing nearer, holding Althia in her arms.
"DIE!!" I heard before a beam of bright light pierced my chest.
I looked at Tris, wanting her face to be the last face I saw before collapsing to the ground.
"GRAY!!!"

If you were wondering or were confused about Otis' powers, he is a monster slayer/ Typhon slayer. Typhon, if you dont know, is the number one enemy of the gods, and Zeus bested him by shooting 100 lightning bolts at his head, thus is why Gray kills him with lightning bolts. Typhon slayer magic gives him the ability to defeat any monsters or mythological beasts, as well as take over as Typhon. This is my original power, and Otis also has the ability to destroy anything in his path, and shoot beams of godly light.
