Tristitia's P.O.V
"Don't worry, I've got him. You guys take care of the others!" Natsu shouted, but I scarcely heard him as I contemplated on how this was possible.
She had been with Otis for the past five years. No wonder I couldn't find her. I never dared to go back.
"Get up, Tris! We need you!" I jolted upright and turned my head.
Natsu, Gray, they were all fighting for me. I can't let them down. I nodded to Natsu and stood up, walking up to Althia.
Althia stood there, head held high.
"Your face was to die for!" Althia chuckled.
"Althia... I don't want to fight you. "
"Well, that's just too bad, sis, 'cause I do!" She charged at me, punching me in the gut. Taken by surprise, I gasped and flew backward to the ground.
"What... did I... ever do... to deserve this?!" I cried between gasps of air, clutching my stomach.
"You existed," she spat, kicking me in the head. I just lay there, wrapping my arms around my torso.
"If you hadn't been born, mom and dad would never have been killed!"
"But you have just as much blame on you, you're my sister!"
"No, I never acknowledged you as family, you scum!" She walked around me, kicking me repeatedly in the stomach.
Now that hurt. Not the kick...well maybe, but what really hurt was the fact that she never thought of me as family. I lived through five years of hell for her, only to find that my predictions of her fearing me too much to love me were true.
And yet, I remembered the fun times we shared just the four of us, mom, dad, her and I, all those years ago. She'd loved me back then. So what changed?
"You betrayed them! You got them killed!"
"I was six! "
"You are not an Anastos!"
"No, you're as bad as I am, working with Otis!"
"No, he's going to help me bring them back to life," I didn't understand. Why would Otis kill them, only to revive them twelve years later?
"You chose the wrong side, Tris! While we are here trying to revive mom and dad, you went to join freaking Fairy Tail! "
I filled with rage. I had been with the guild for only one and a half months, but I refused to let her smack talk it.
I started to slowly get up.
"They're my family now, Alth. Fairy Tail and the Underworld gods. I learned to let people in, to melt my frozen heart, and if you're going to criticize the people who made it possible..."

"Then I won't hold back anymore. "
"Finally, some fun! "
"Bone make: Swords!"
"Plant make: Shield!" Interlocking vines erupted from the ground, protecting her from the flying bone swords.
"Growl of Cerberous!"
"Wind of Acheolous!"
Both of our wind based attacks collided and sent us both flying back. She was strong, but I was able to keep up with her.
"Hades Secret Art: Summon!" The spirits I summoned charged at Althia.
"Divine light!" The blinding wave of golden light destroyed the souls before they could reach her.
"Spectral Hand!" A large, glowing hand appeared. Reaching out, the hand mimicked my own, reaching for Althia. She jumped out of its reach, and used a beam of light to then destroy it.
"Grasping vines!" Vines grew from the ground and within a second, wrapped around my neck.
"Kkk!" I gagged, trying to pry the vines off of my neck.
"Kill nature!" I choked out and the vines turned dark and wilted, releasing my neck from its grip. Soothing my neck, I readied my next attack.
"Ray of sickness!" A ray of sickening, green poison lashed out at Althia.
"Poison protection!" A white light surrounded her, and as the ray hit, she didn't experience any of its effects.
"Moonbeam!" A silvery beam of pale light shone down on me, and a moment later, I was surrounded by flames.
"Ahhhh!"
I could feel my skin boil, and strands of my shirt burning and tore. I slowly stepped out of the beam's light, and the fire extinguished.
"You're strong sis, almost too strong. There is only one way I could beat you."
"I know," I had only used it once before, but I was confident that it would work.
"Life God..."
"Death God..."
"Ultimate Form!"
"Ultimate Form!"
A white glow enveloped Althia as a black one surrounded me.
I could feel horns grow from my head, and my finger nails turn into talons. Strands of my hair twisted themselves into braids and my wings became more demonic looking. My pants grew into scales, and a belt of sharp metal lay around my waist. My tank top turned into black scaly armor that showed most of my torso, yet still covered my breasts and arms. My eyes turned a burning golden color and the black light vanished.
Althia was different, too. Instead of a pair of wings, she had three pairs of dove wings. She had a blue, spiky headpiece and a white, flowy, strapless dress, acompanied with cuffs of golden fabric on her lower arms. She had on golden flats and golden leg cuffs with white frilly fabric were around her lower calves.
"Animate: Phlegthon!"
Water from the Phlegthon formed into a spiral and twisted it's way over to me. Once it reached me, it morphed into a humanoid looking body, its orange water still flowing. It hurled large balls of water at Althia, who dodged them.
"Spirit guardian: Ice!" A humanoid being of clear blue ice appeared, and as my humanoid shot out more water, it froze it and the humanoid before melting.
"Wave of exhaustion!" A wave of eerie mist traveled towards Althia, extracting some of her energy.
"Astral wave!" A cloud of white fog drifted towards me and I felt myself grow tired.
We were both spent from our previous attacks, but I had one more trick up my sleeve.
"Nightmare!" This attack allowed me to view the opponent's worst fear, as well as make the opponent tramatised and unable to use magic.
Dust started to clump together to create an image and my eyes widened. In front of me stood two people: Otis and myself. Otis had a long sword in his hand, which he then used to stab me in the chest. The sword pierced through my back and I crumpled to the ground.
Watching myself die felt weird.
"No! Tris!" Althia reached out, falling onto the ground. She cried her eyes out, shouting my name over and over.
A black shadow rose from Althia's back, and it strangely looked like Otis.
Wait?! Had Otis been mind controlling her the entire time?!
"Althia..." I returned to my normal self and she turned her head to look at me.
"Tris!!" Althia's god form vanished as she ran to me, leaping into my arms. We sobbed into each other's shoulders before she broke the embrace.
"Alth?"
"Tris, I need you to do something for me."
"Anything," I smiled through my tears, which were now tears of joy.
"Well, there once was a god of medicine..."
She wasn't talking about Apollo. He wasn't the god of medicine. The god of medicine was his son, the minor god Asclepius. I knew how his story ended.
"... Who helped his patients cheat death."
"No, please!"
"In the end, to restore balance on Earthland and in the Underworld, Zeus killed him."
"No Alth, I'll do anything, but not this!"
"Tris, this is the only way to make the evil sorcerers I brought back to life vanish and to close the gates of Tartarus. You have to kill me."
"I won't! I can't! Not when I just got you back!" I cried, gripping her by the sleeves of her robe. She cupped my cheek in her left hand.
"Tris, please. I don't want people to get hurt."
"But why?! Why do you have to leave?!"
"I'll always be here," she said, gesturing to my heart, "But you're the only one who can do this. Death is the only thing that can end life."
"I love you. "
"I love you, too."
I couldn't believe what I had just heard. She'd loved me all this time, it was just Otis's mind control that made it seem that she didn't. I smiled, happy that her last words would be that she loved me.
I placed my hand on her head.
"Thanatos's will," I mumbled, crying and shaking uncontrollably. I closed my eyes as to not watch as her soul left her body and she crumbled to the ground.
I sat beside her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Soul Bind," Her soul condensed into a black, shiny crystal which plopped into my hand and I shoved it in my pocket. Now I nor anyone else would be able to revive her.
Sobbing, I picked up her lifeless body and carried her back over to the others. Natsu, Erza and Lucy had done a good job in defeating their opponents. They looked at Althia then back to me with pitiful looks in their eyes.
Gray was walking back too, with blood dripping from his lip and wore a weak smile.
Suddenly, a beam of white light pierced Gray's chest. He looked at me, a yearningful look in his eyes before he collapsed to the ground.
"GRAY!!!!"
