I bite my bottom lip, while finishing reading the rules.

My mom's brother lives in Orlando where the official competition would be held. I called him, and asked if I could stay in his house for about two weeks. He agreed. I was thankful.

If I make the cut and make it through the first round, I would have a spot in the mansion with the rest of the members. I would have to move in.

I sighed and bit my bottom lip, a habit I couldn't seem go shake off. I brushed a comb through my hair, put on some mascara, Chapstick, and change my band T-shirt to a pretty dark blue blouse that makes my grey eyes stand out.

I can do this.

I walk to the living room and sit on the wooden piano, and sit my computer on the top of the piano. I point the camera to me and start recording.

"Hi my name is Annalina Estrada, I am eighteen years old, and the name of the song I am about to sing is Invincible by Kelly Clarkson. Hope you enjoy." I say looking at the camera.

I take a deep breath, and brush my hands through the keys softly without pressing down. I turn on the song on my phone, but start off with just me, the piano, and the sound of violins coming from the speaker connected to my phone.

"You know I was broke down, I had hit the ground
I was crying out, I couldn't make no sound
No one hears the silent tears collecting
You know I had lost hope, I was all alone
Never been so long till you came along
Teacher, I feel the dots connecting." My voice sings.
