Chapter 16
Scarlett's P.O.V
I lay there for about ten minutes confused about what the hell jus happened. I just kissed Night! Why had he done that? We...we don't have feeling for each other...do we? No. Of course not. He's a perverted jerk player from a supernatural world. A supernatural world that seems all too real to be true.
I thought about what Nikki had said. "Welcome to the family." What did that mean? Maybe it was a sign for me to leave. I've been intruding in her lovely home for too long. I was getting a little home sick myself. I mean I love it here, but it's not the same as having the same freedom like when you're at home.
Aside from my house I missed my car. I haven't checked my cell phone in almost a week. Everything was home. I also need to talk to my parents. I miss my mom so much. I wish I could blurt everything that's happened to her right now. That's it I need to go. I packed my belongings. The clothes I'd already worn from my wardrobe Jason so kindly bought me, and the new clothes I had bought.

Scarlett's P.O.V
The next day I waited until about 7 p.m to go home. Carrying the bag I went downstairs careful to avoid anyone but Nikki.
Walking into the kitchen I mentally smacked myself in the face. The they all were giving me their beautiful smiles. Night gave me his heart-stopping smile and I felt just a bit of pink on my cheeks.
"Red, finally decided to get out of your room?" Night says annoyingly.
"Of course." I snicker back. I stepped toward the counter and said "I think I should go home."
The smiles disappeared and there was silence in the room. I looked at Nikki who had an understanding smile.
"But why?" asks Naiomi upset.
"It's not like I'm moving to Alaska or anything. I'm just going home. I miss my room, my car, and my mom's probably worried sick about me." I said.
"Naiomi, be a little more understanding. You can go see her whenever you want. Scarlett doesn't live that far." said Nikki.
"Everything should be repaired like new." said Jason.
"Thank-you so much...for everything." I said.
"Night do you wanna take Scar home?" asks Nikki.
"No." said Night looking out the window. "Why do I have to, she can do it herself."
"Fine, I can call Aaron up and ask him if he could pick me up." I say directly to Night.
I knew it. He just wants to play me. I can't believe I let him kiss me. I felt a little upset and I didn't know how to feel.
Nikki laughed slightly and said "There's no need."
"One of the kids can take you." said Jason.
"Thank you." I say.
"I guess that'll be me." Quincy says getting up.
"No, this time let's give Damien a chance." Nikki said.
I froze. No, why Damien? I love him, he's the best but he's also always trying to assault me.
I looked at Damien who had an evil smile plastered onto his face. He winked and I exaggerated an eye roll.
"Does it have to be Damien?" I ask Nikki.
Everyone laughed and so did I.
"Just bear with it. Let's see if he can handle his...cravings." says Raze giving me a cheesy smile.
