I try to forget you.
Erasing you from places you wouldn't imagine.
Pouring bleach on my brain to get rid of you.
Scrubbing my lips to the taste you off of them.
But simply,
You're unforgettable.I remember everything.
How you favorite color was brown,
Because it was the color of my skin,
And my skin reminds you much of home.
How your lips loved to touch mine,
Amongst other things.
How easy life seemed to be when you were touching me.I never imagined that you could be this way.
So refusing to leave me,
So loving of me in my darkest moments.
And those dark moments let you know I was human because before you thought I was too perfect to be this way.
You bat your eyelashes and smirk at me,
Knowing its all too easy to fool me.I can't help but try,
Try to erase you from my life.
But you're unforgettable.
Trying to forget would mean forgetting my happiness,
Forgetting who I was when I was with you.
Simply,
You're unforgettable.
