Salene's Pov
I looked back at the city and my worst fear began to flood in. Is Mouse okay with the eco-tribe? I began to worry and my breathing became fast. Tears came streaming from my eyes thinking I may never know Mouse is safe. I look around the boat to see Jack and Ellie cuddling. Lex sitting down with a smirk on his face, as he looked at Ebony, and Trudy with Brady on her lap. Brady. Such a beautiful soul. She makes me happy every time I see her. I begin wiping my tears as i make my way over to them.
" Salene! Are you alright!" Trudy said as loud as possible. Nearly everyone turns to look at me.
"The sea salt got in my eye, that's all" I lied, taking a seat next to Trudy.
"May I?" I said, holding my hands to Brady
"Of course Salene! Your like a second mother to Brady!" She motions me to sit next to her, and plonks me on my lap. Brady looks at me and smiles. Trudy stands up and walks over to the door.
"I'm going to check on Amber" Trudy said, walking in. I look at Brady and smile.
" You may have a playmate if I didn't fall down the stairs" I said smiling, but my smile disappears soon as I remember Ryan.
