No matter what Dipper tried, he felt as though Wendy had lost all faith in him. After her breakup with Robbie a few days ago, she seemed to want nothing but to be as far away from boys as much as possible. Dipper felt bad enough that he was the reason for their break up, but now his chances with her were, if not completely gone, much slimmer than before. Also, Mabel and Wendy had started doing girl things; shopping, gossiping, and even listening to mushy-gushy love songs by Sev'ral Timez and other boy bands. He found this extremely annoying.
Besides that whole sha-bang, not much had changed. The Mystery Shack was still as fake as ever and the Mystery Twins had their daily adventures.
One night, Dipper woke up around two In the morning to a clap of thunder; he could see nothing but the darkness and hear nothing but the storm raging on outside.
"Well," he whispered to the darkness, "No unordinary adventures today. It'll be nice to relax inside and not have to deal with anything crazy." and he fell back to sleep thinking about all the ordinary things he could do in the morning.
But nothing is ever ordinary in Gravity Falls.
