Fixing Things

Chihiro X Reader
It was hard. You couldn't deal with it on your own. Just the fighting, arguing, the loud yells across the room. Worst of all you had no one to help. No one but your best friend Chihiro. He helped you get through times like these and was there when you needed him. He was a very energetic person and you could rely on him. Today was probably one of their worst fights. It was so stupid. Always getting into fully formed arguments over something so simple. Such as a jar of mayo or a can of soda. "I know what's best for (Y/N)" Your mother screamed. "What would you know you simple minded woman!" Your father shouted. You heard a crash and curled back into a ball on your bed. You knew you needed to talk to someone. So who better than your best friend. You got up slowly from your bed trying hard not to cry. There was another crash and muffled shouting downstairs. You made your way over to the computer in the corner of your room, booting it up and clicking the small blue icon in the corner. You scrolled through the contacts finding Chihiro's name fairly quick. You hit the little green call button. The waiting screen popped up. "Common Fujisaki I need you", you prayed. You heard angry footsteps pass your door and a different door slam and lock. Suddenly a cheery face appeared on screen. "Hey (Y/N) you ok?" He asked. You shook you head and put your head in your hands. "It's getting worse Chihiro", you cried out, "I'm miserable." You looked back up at the faint glowing screen. Chihiro looked very worried about you. He had know about this whole problem since it's infancy. You had told him about it from the moment it first started getting serious. You had broken down several times in front of him but you looked utterly depressed. "(Y/N)", He murmured softly. The tears had started to fall from your eyes. "They don't understand Chihiro. They don't know what they are putting me through", you sobbed. You looked up, vision blurred with tears. He saw how terrible this had become. "Listen (Y/N) I wish I could fix things. I can't fix what's going on entirely but I can make it better. I can be there when you need it." He smiled through the pixilated screen. You wiped your tears away and managed a giggle. "How about tomorrow I'll take you out for ice cream or something", He stated. You nodded and grinned. Things looked bleak but with a friend like Chihiro hope shined through
